2018 GMC Canyon review
Everything has worked well on this vehicle except the electronics. You have to turn heat passed 75 to get any heat and I just had to spend over $700.00 for stereo and Apple Car Play repairs

Took it back and the Service Manager and Garry Orvis came out looked at the issue and no codes were present because I turned my vehicle off and opened the door. 2023 Ford Ranger review
The Ranger is a great light duty pickup for urban use. The 4-cyl 2.3L Turbo engine is plenty strong and gets great MPG at highway speeds. Around town I get right at 20 MPG, but at highway speeds it is closer to 28 MPG. It also tows my 3,000 lb boat with ease and gets 1 5 - 18 MPG while doing so. I would have liked a 6' bed, but Ford right-sized this vehicle for those that don't need a full-sized pickup.

2022 Chevrolet Colorado review
I have a gas ZR2 in blue, and it is my dream truck. The build quality is so good on these! The doors shut with a solid thud, the intuitiveness of the interior...it was the best truck available in 2022. I got mine before the '23 models and I am so very glad I did. I looked at all available mid-sized trucks, Jeeps, Tacos, Nissan, etc...none felt as solid as the ZR2. Almost two years now, and coming up on 25k. Oil changes and had the tires balanced, did all of the fluids at 5k. You have to allow for Chevy Quirkiness, and you'll love it. The A/C can be weird.

2025 Honda Ridgeline review
Love my Ridgeline! Bought the RTL+ with the HPD black tires. The interior is by far the biggest of the midsize trucks. Plus having 6 cyl/AWD is huge. Gets good mileage. I am averaging around 22mpg. Smooth rolling...like butter. Plus all the storage is such a game-changer. I tried the Frontier/Tacoma...they were decent but for the packaging, it was a no-brainer. The Taco was more than $10k for lower trim. The Ridgeline has premium leather and is just by far a better choice for me.

2019 Ford Ranger review
Great looking truck. It gets above average mpg. Enjoy the ride. Had one major issue with the air conditioner but was fix by my dealer at a reduced price. Other than that it runs fantastic. Easily would buy it all over again.

Missing a few things that could really make it better. Homelink for garage door isn’t offered? Doesn’t come with a receiver type hitch however what does comes with it is almost the same amount of steel. The phone charger doesn’t work quite right and they know it.

2023 Chevrolet Colorado review
Bought the truck with 3000 miles on it. engine feels strong had no mechanical issues with almost 20,000 miles on it now knock on wood I drive it on 300 mile road trips regularly back and forth to college and with just a few infotainment issues such as Bluetooth not connecting the screen taking over 3 minutes to turn on which are frustrating but not devestating overall for the price this thing should be flawless and not have these basic issues but hasn't left me stranded. (PS don't buy OnStar Wi-Fi it is terrible never works interferes with your service)

2023 Ford Ranger review
I've owned a '19 Ranger XLT FX4 super crew for 4yrs / 46k mis. Its been impeccable in this time. The mpgs have even improved as the truck gained mileage. It averages 21mpg city/ 24hwy. I've towed my 04 Mustang SVT Cobra "terminator" many times. Truck handles it w/ease as max tow rating is 7500lbs. The comfort & driving dynamics are best in class as is safety tech / features. So delighted w/ the Ranger ive ordered a '23 Ranger XLT Tremor edition. Really like the styling of this Gen Ranger & wanted the best version (Tremor) before an all new '24 Ranger is released fall '23. When shopping the midsized truck class be sure to test drive different models as they all have there own unique characteristics. None are bad ..but the Ranger just has more to offer. The excellent Gen2 TGDI Ecoboost powertrain is best in class. As all reviews have stated. This is absolutely true. Will not be selling our '19 Ranger XLT FX4 whenever the '23 Ranger Tremor arrives. Midsized trucks nowadays are the perfect size for 80% of personal truck buyers. Even off rd they are easier to navigate vs a full sized 1/2 ton truck or large SUV.

2024 Ford Ranger review
This truck is just the right size: not too big to park anywhere and easy to back, with a powerful turbo charged engine that doesn't hog the gas. Comes with a rugged, handsome, masculine design without wasting metal, fuel consumption, and space. I bought a Ranger Raptor. Incredible pickup, handles more like a tall sport car than a truck. Very comfortable to drive with multiple steering option, shock setting and exhaust note. Fun to drive around town and on super highways. Increasable value for all the options you get.

2022 GMC Canyon review
GMC Diesel Canyon AT4. I've had this truck for a year-11,000 miles. I love it. The Denali and Elevation trim looked like junk. The AT4 can't compete with the Tacoma off road but, It holds it's own off road. The Diesel pulls like a beast and the exhuast brake, on all the moutain passes I drive, is worth it's wieght in Gold. I trailer the max. capacity regularly and it's smooth sailing. I traded in my 2500HD Silverado with the vortec 6.0 for this big, little truck. Best decision I've made in a while. I had this truck on order for 8 months and Gm never accepted the order. I finally found exactly what I ordered, just off the truck that morning that I called. 1300 miles away, I jumped on a plane to go get it. Crying shame GMC discontinued the diesel. The extra $ per gallon right now is easily washed by the increase in mileage, 32+ higway, 19 trallering almost 8000 #'s. I wouldn't want the truck without it. Wouldn't want the Elevation or Denali. Diesel AT4 is the truck. I'll keep it the rest of my life barring accident. I'm sure I can get 40 years out of this truck doing 10-12k a year. The regeneration of the exhaust has never come up but, I only do a little round town driving. Most of my miles are highway and hauling a load. I've heard horror stories about regen. from city folk, commuters... You get what you aim for. If you've given it a lot of thought and the diesel AT4 seems right for you, you won't be disappointed. Good luck finding one. GM - You've a winner here. don't let it get away. Ps. Cars.com doesn't have a choice of how I use this truck for WORK. And wouldn't let me submit this review without selecting one of thier 3 inadequate choices. So, I selected having fun cause I believe everything should be but, this is my WORK TRUCK!

2024 GMC Canyon review
Our AT4X has been an excellent mid-size truck. The ride is shockingly smooth and the engine has a lot of torque. Wish the interior had less plastic and GM's failure to have a rear view camera mirror or controls for garage/gate contols is inexcusible. Overall, could not be more pleased with this truck.

2024 GMC Canyon review
Had my 2024 Canyon for exactly one year. Not a single real issue once over the air update was done and that only affected the radio. It was an AT4 in desert sand metallic. I traded it for a 2025 Acadia, as I missed life in an SUV. However if you want a truck, I’d highly recommend it and specifically the AT4 model. It’s got meaty tires for pothole protection, it’s able to tow more than you can imagine, it looks super amazing and you’ll have lots of thumbs up and positive comments when you get gas, etc. updated tech was more than you could ask for. 4WD auto mode worked flawlessly. Engine had a nice little growl that I miss too. Let me say if you are a truck person or want to be a truck person, it’s a perfect mid size truck. Mine was 100% and am missing it yes but love the Acadia because it’s also a great vehicle. Got the AT4 Acadia and for my situation it’s perfect.

2018 GMC Canyon review
I bought this truck new 8 years ago (and 77k miles). I use this truck for truck things like towing a 5,200lb trailer @8 times a year. The V6 has plenty of power and gets good mileage (22 mpg combined, 29 highway empty, 15 pulling the trailer). Reliability has been outstanding. The transmission needs a full flush about every 40k to keep it shifting smoothly. Other than that this truck has been without issue.

2025 Chevrolet Colorado review
My 2025 Chevy Colorado is fun to drive. The ZR1 engine has plenty of power considering it’s a four-cylinder engine. I am very much a person who prefers an eight cylinder when it comes to a truck. I was pleasantly surprised when I drove this truck with a four-cylinder engine. This truck has a lot of power and get up and go, especially when it comes to passing other vehicles. My firstb experience at passing in a vehicle in his truck surprised when I hit the gas and I wound up surging forward in my seat. The interior of the truck is very comfortable and ete appealing. 2023 Honda Ridgeline review
Purchased this 2023 Ridgeline after my 2020 was totaled out. The 2020 gets slightly better gas mileage, but they are very comfortable and quiet vehicles. I have many friends with larger trucks that have poor ride quality and lack the ease of use. The best thing is that Honda last forever. I still have and drive a 92 Civic. Two things I wish Honda and other manufacturers would do in the mid size truck market; one is make the back seats recline and make a reliable hybrid. Everything else is perfect. I was going to buy a newer Ridgeline since the display controls are better, but I loved the in bed speakers that are no longer on the newer models. It’s more truck than you’ll need for 90% of what you use it for.

2023 Honda Ridgeline review
Great mid-sized truck! Far superior to offerings from Nissan and Toyota - both of which ride like trucks. The Ridgeline rides like an SUV. Quiet, predictable and dependable. The Honda Safety Sensing system is a tad of a nuisance but you get accustomed to ignoring it. Surprised that Honda doesn’t do a better job. Infotainment system is overly complicated. Fuel economy is acceptable. Power is acceptable.

2022 Chevrolet Colorado review
I bought my Colorado in December 2022. I want planning on a midsized truck but after the test drive I was impressed. The room is enough for 4 adults comfortably. I have 7500 miles on it and have recommended to several family members. My is a 2wheel drive crew about with locking rear differential. The only thatI have problem with is the tires it came with. Goodyear Wranglers, it needs taller tires and wider.

2016 GMC Canyon review
Bought this 2016 GMC Canyon (4cyl) at car max in 2017 . It was part of a commercial fleet and was well taken care of and low mileage . I’ve only have had one problem and that was in the engine cooling system where I had to replace two hoses and a goose neck . While repairing that I noticed an oil leak around the valve cover so I replaced the gasket . It was under warranty still ( just happened in Jan 2024 ) . I could have repaired it myself but who wants to get all dirty when it can be repaired by GMC at little or no cost to me. It still has 6 months remaining on warranty ( I did purchase from CarMax) hoping it does not need any further repairs . It is 8 years old and according to its records this is the first repair other than natural repair items that had ever been needed . It rides well pulls my utility trailer fully loaded just fine . I also have a 2000 Ranger that I had to replace the tranny on when it was just a few years old . It has never needed any other work. I believe the GMC will last me for years to come . But you never know so I will be buying another after market warranty on it when the time comes . I’ve already added that to a 2015 vehicle I own who’s warranty had expired . I’m a old school mechanic I can repair olde vehicles easily ( compared to todays ) I’m also a former Turbo Prop Mechanic from the Air Force and worked those motors for almost 29 years . I had worked on Piston Air Craft Motors for a few years before the change . A lot like a car piston motor in many ways . Two kinds of piston motors on Air Craft . Line a cars block or a receptacating motor( Round) . Very easy to trouble shoot vs Turbo Prop. Just letting you know that I have experience as a mechanic and know a real problem vehicle when I see one . Would buy a GMC canyon again or maybe go larger due to my new 42 foot long Camper I have rec bought .

He offered to take me for a ride to check it out and was very pleasant to deal with. After we were done, he told me he would take care of getting the financing done and would try to get me the best deal possible. After staying in contact with him about the car for about a week, he delivered on his word of getting the financing done. My wife and I went back and forth on whether we wanted to spend the money or not. Even after being indecisive about the purchase, he stayed patient with us and wasn't pushy. So, we finally told him we would come get the car and sign the paperwork. Once we arrived, I asked him if we could check the car over really good one last time before signing. He was cool with it and because we were already approved and had insurance on it, he said, "here take it out for a spin and let your wife see what it's like and when you are done come back and let's talk." We really enjoyed the car and told him when we got back that we wanted to discuss everything over lunch and would give him the final answer after eating. Ater talking, there was just a few issues that were concerning to me about going forward with the purchase. To be honest, they may not have been big deals but for us purchasing a car like this for the first time we figured it would be best to wait until we find one that just made everything feel right. He understood and even offered to take care of the issues, but my wife and I just still weren't there on the car. As an owner of a European car repair shop there was just a few things that made me not want to go through with it. The R8 was beautiful and felt solid and like I said it was small things that probably wasn't a big deal, but they changed my mind. We didn't go through with the purchase, but it had nothing to do with Travis and how he conducted business. It was just mainly me being nitpicky on things. I never asked him to take care of the issues at all. He offered to do it. So, I must say coming from a business owner myself and dealing with customers on cars, I appreciate that a lot. He was very professional and easy to talk to. I would still consider purchasing an R8 from him if he were to get anymore that just makes my wife and I say, "yes this is the one for sure". I understand that everyone is going to have a different opinion about a business and their experience, and you can't please everyone all the time. I deal with it at my shop from time to time. I'm basing my review off of my personal experience here. Travis, if you read this man, we genuinely appreciate your time, professionalism and integrity. Thank you for being patient with us and I'm sorry we couldn't make a deal at the time.
2023 Honda Ridgeline review
Bought this 2023 Ridgeline RTL used with only 4000 miles in Nov 2024, so it is essentially a new car. I was coming from a similar class, a 2018 Nissan Frontier. The new electronics suite is really nice. Turning radius is slightly less, so still getting used to that especially when backing into spaces. The tilt down/swing open tailgate is very handy, and the extra trunk under the deck is a Godsend for groceries, and the trunk also keeps the spare tire out of the elements until that rare time I have to get at it. All in all I like it a lot (price tag could have been lower), but no real complaints as yet. Only little things are that I am still reaching for a shifter (push button automatic), and reaching to turn off the key (which is now a fob in my pocket). Nice smooth ride which is really nice for some of the longer rides I take.
