The staff is amazing. Chris and Ashley were very helpful. I was able to find a car newer than the one I had and found one with decent mileage. I was grateful that even the manager helped because I only had a certain amount to put down to start the loan for my car. I think the sales representatives provided the best customer service; they went above and beyond. Also, they said I could stop by if I ever need an oil change or other things is a plus for me as well! So grateful I was helped by this amazing staff, one of the best car sales experiences I have ever had.
2015 Volkswagen Beetle review
Best vehicle that I have ever owned, great mileage, reliable, has that inimitable distinct VW design, doesn't look like every other car on the road. Considering the VW Bus when it comes out in the fall of 2024!

Sales person Kenya Ellis-Walker helped us filter through the choices we had researched. She is knowledgeable, relaxed, patient and listened to us so that she understood what each of us in this couple wanted. She is great. Plus the whole Car Max experience is pleasant because you can flip among comparable cars of different makes and compare then and there. And you are not pressured at all because the sales people are salaried--the entire experience reduces stress and gives you more choice. Good for people who prefer space to think and options to compare.

Shopping for new car. Had one shipped from another carmax. Took car for 24hr test drive. Took to Firestone; was showed a badly rusted undercarriage. Returned outback to carmax Dothan. They said they'd have a look at it, that it might be within their specs but not ours. Manager offered to reimburse us the inspection and shipping fee. Can't argue with that. Great customer service.
2016 Volkswagen Beetle review
I traded in my Buick Enclave for a VW Beetle over 6 years ago and have loved it nearly every day. The Turbo engine is fantastic. It's been a great little car. The only complaint is that it's not great (at all!) in the snow. Other than that, two thumbs up.

My Ford Ranger was in the shop for several days for a seatbelt issue and key replacements and the level of professionalism was top-notch from start to finish. A huge shout out to Dave in parts- he was incredible. He quickly and efficiently tracked down the exact replacement part needed for my driver's seatbelt installation which saved a lot of time and headache. I also want to recognize Mike Young, who oversaw the entire process. Mike's attention to detail while managing the repairs and getting my new keys made was impressive. He kept everything moving smoothly and ensured the work was done right. The entire staff was courteous, professional and efficient throughout the week. 2014 Volkswagen Beetle review
Solid for a convertible. Goes surprisingly well in the snow and with the seats down can haul stuff. I have this as my only car and it is actually very practical. Plus, it’s just a joy to drive.

Jonathan Craig Brewer has been fantastic through everything. We first bought a 2026 Traverse from him in February of this year. We traded with a dealership in Miami where later we found there was a 4 foot dead iguana in it. After that there was multiple issues with electrical and the car not starting. We didn’t feel safe to put our son in it anymore. We brought up the concern to Jonathan, he went through every hoop imaginable even on multiple days off to make sure we got into a car that was safe and not paying more for it. We actually turned out paying less for this new Traverse. We can not thank him enough for everything he has done for our family. At this point we think of him as our family as well. He deserves Salesman of the year. He has truly gone above and beyond for us. If you need a salesman who is truly about the people and caring Jonathan is the way to go
2015 Volkswagen Eos review
I love convertibles in the summer but they're not fun to drive in the winter. The EOS is two cars in one. It's a convertible that with the push of a button becomes a hard top. Unlike most convertibles, the EOS is also quite practical. It seats 4 and with the top up has a huge trunk. Best of both worlds.
