2016 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
The engineering and design are outstanding . The driving experience is very special for this price range. It’s real fun to drive. It’s an icon. Let down by quality issues unknown to Japanese vehicles and ridiculous service and repair costs. I love the car but dread any encounter with the dealer in North Tampa.. I think their service charges are equal to BMW and Mercedes.

2017 Volkswagen Golf review
I bought my golf new at the end of 2016 and would have kept it much longer if it had not been totaled in an accident. The few little issues I had were covered under the initial warranty (coolant leak, trunk leak). Nothing else other than normal maintenance things like brakes and tires up to 81,000 - that's as far as I can speak to. I took good care of it, did the VW service things for the most part and I have no doubt it would have lasted to 200K or beyond. It looked cool and was fun to drive. I had the S manual. I enjoy driving and had a tiny regret about not getting the Wolfsburg edition (faster engine, slightly better options like heated seats and sun/moon roof).

2017 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
It is a fun car to own, great gas mileage and even if your not going to turn it into a rice burner it is still a awesome little car and gots alot of power, you can get around all these slow idiot drivers that seem to be all over the place. The interior is nice and comfortable, I have already took mine on a trip to Cali and no comfort issues, smart with mechanical other than stuff that should of been taken care of by the dealership on their "certified pre-owned inspection" but that is a dealership laziness issue so stay away from Larry H Miller Volkswagen in Avondale and you should be ok. Look forward to many many years & miles behind the wheel of my car and would recommend this car

2017 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
GTI's do almost everything well. Economy, performance, flexibility, holds value, road car, back roads car, safety, comfort, feature-laden and now almost $10K less than the price of the average new vehicle. Two minor flaws IMO. All GTI's should have Golf R climate controls. Standard controls too confusing and fussy. Rather set it and forgot it. DSG is "still funky after all these years." Don't get me wrong, the lightning quick shifts and in-traffic ease are compelling, but DSGs can be clunky and feel strange at low speed and can't yet read all of your intentions correctly, thus some odd decisions/shifts on occasion. Not a fault, just a thing. Otherwise brilliant. GTI is among the contenders for "best" mass-produced combustion engine car of all time. Yes, that good. If shopping the used market, I would strongly suggest one try to get a Performance Package car. Much better brakes that won't need brake service as often and stop better. Also, the electronically controlled differential aids both traction and handling.

My 69 birthday was at the end of August and I had decided after owning every muscle car under the sun that I was going to cash in on a few investments a buy myself a Corvette as I’m not getting any younger. I had found several nice cars, but no dealerships that I felt comfortable with. Their “ no hassle non negotiable” way of doing business told me stay away. I came across a nice Corvette at Jordan Motorcars and made a inquiry. Ray Martinez called me back and I was immediately impressed with him. I couldn’t believe I had found a car salesman that was a nice guy, but Ray is a winner. We negotiated back and forth and came up with a price that worked for both of us. They found a few things wrong with the car after the agreement on the price and they made it right with no change in the price to me. I would say that the guys at Jordan Motorcars say what they will do and then they do what they say. A rarity in the world we live in today. 2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
Overall, this is one of the best cars I have ever owned. This car hugs the road while providing the opportunity to be a real daily driver. Fast, refined, and full of options which accommodate any driving style. If I have one complaint, it is - yes the same as so many others - the infotainment system. The base model gives you a better feel and option for using actual knobs for some of the specifics, which I find somewhat ironic. If you can manage to get past the infotainment system, you’ll love this car.
