2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen review
We purchased a used TDI with 50K miles. now has over 150K and have only done oil changes and fuel filter. Only necessary repair was the HVAC blower motor just recently failed. Incredibly reliable car. Diesel engine paired with the 6 speed automatic trans delivers awesome torque whenever you need it. 50+ mpg on hwy trips and averaging 39 mpg commuting. The interior is obviously not luxurious but comfortable enough to keep you happy. I should mention the Stereo system and bluetooth is unreliable. Powers itself on and off at random and will require repair. The cargo area is surprisingly large when the seats are folded down as well.

After being totally uninspired with my ‘go to’ Japanese brands, I decided to test drive a VW Tiguan. I test drove one at another dealer but they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. I was searching online and spotted a Tiguan with the exact features/color I was looking for. It was marked down a significant amount as well. I emailed the dealer and received a phone call from Jonathan Scoggins who confirmed all the features over the phone. He also confirmed that the mark down was not a gimmick as it sometimes is. I came in and Jonathan and I talked for a while and went on a nice test drive. He is very knowledgeable about cars and the VW brand. He put my mind at ease (I’ve never had an VW) and the test drive was heavenly. I wasn’t quite ready to make a decision and wasn’t pressured to do so. A few days later I came in and made the trade. 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen review
Bought car used in 2021 did the timing belt and water pump at 100 k due to leak replaced the infotainment screen due to flickering in 2022 . Replaced driver door handle due to malfunction with keyless system in 2022 ,do oil changes on the diesel at 5 k as opposed to factory 10k because I think it's a better choice for long-term use after you get used to the diesel quirks it gets great mileage and is super comfortable with the heated seats would buy another one on a minute

2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack review
It's fun to drive, versatile with lots of storage space and has reasonably good gas mileage (36 hwy/24 city). It has an amazing turn radius. Somewhat noisy during highway driving and kind of deficient infotainment/safety features. But it's been reliable so far (100k miles). And did I mention fun to drive?

2019 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen review
Overall the car is good for commuting. The MPG is about 29-38 mpg averages. Takes 87-91 gas. The power is quick on start up but struggles at the higher speeds. MPG goes down of low 30s at faster freeway speeds. The car makes a weird mechanical noise at start up sounds like a vent or lever opening / closing and also another weird noise when the rear view camera opens and closes when put in reverse. I dash lights for air bag are always on in yellow and emergency lights in red. I cover with black tape case at night time these are annoying. The Day time light are always on which are annoying. It does cause a slight drain on battery and alternator. If you put your parking back on when stop the lights go off. Its a rough ride even with new tires. Its a low to ground so hard to get in and out of if your tall.

2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen review
This car is amazing. I bought it at the end of Feb 2021 for $11,000. That was about 4-6 weeks before the price of used cars skyrocketed. The first time i took it to a mechanic for some scheduled maintenance i found out that i have a “Unicorn.” It is quick and handles like a dream. I love that i don’t have to fuel it up as much as the gasoline version. The six speed manual transmission is amazing. A fun fact about this car is that it isn’t actually a Jetta. It’s a Golf. My manual 6 speeed TDI sportwagen is the most fun car i have ever owned.

2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack review
I drove a Golf TSI for years and absolutely loved it. Never wanted drive a different car as long as Iived. Then I had a kid(which is is tight with a golf) and someone pulled out in front of me and it got totalled. I took the money and upgraded to the Alltrack because its basically the same car with more room and AWD. Absolutely love it! Gas mileage is significantly lower than my Golf, but it still has some zip. The DSG transmission is like butter. Ill drive this car into the ground.
