Great experience purchasing a “new” to me car. I learned about the car from cars.com and contacted them right away and received a quick response. Alex was very courteous and it was a smooth process. I would recommend checking them out!

I've only owned it a week but what a car...tight smooth and quick. Im getting 27 mpg city/hway combined. Most comfortable seats I've ever experienced on the road. 100k and it looks and drives like new. It's a t5 so the insurance is a bit more spendy but so worth it. I recently spent some time behind the wheel of a BMW 328xi., a great car but it doesn't have much on the s40 t5. I love this car.
John is a very thoughtful person, both in the traditional sense: He picked me up from the train station, drove me to the RMV (and waited with me!) and then drove me back to the dealership where my new car was waiting, but also in a literal sense, as he was able to think about issues and logistics long before I was.
John also laid out the process and costs in a very clear and easy to understand way, which as a first time car buyer I greatly appreciated, and he even got me a fantastic rate from the local credit union.
All in all, it was a very clear, smooth and fair process.
Would definitely recommend Select Used Cars and John without hesitation.

xxxx car. 2.0 disel. I the first moth the dor sensors broke, indicating all dors open all the time. In the fift month the pump for the stearing blew. The plate that closes the intake at shot down got stuck twise, had to have it fixed at the dealerahip. Ac broke. Alternator finished. The flywheel leaked silocon in the clutch and destroied everytjing in there. All this happend in 3 years. Newer buing a Volvo again. And the dealership was just xxxx all the time. I had loud noices at start up sometimes, and sommetimes a real hard shut down. Had them have a look and they found nothing. They did not put this in the log book so when the clutch went they told me no it was not theyr resposability.
I am a taller person and the added shoulder room is nice. This car is heavy so you feel safe but it is quick to the spot so you get the thrill if you like to drive fast. Decent on gas mileage. Comfortable for long drives and when in traffic. If you keep it well maintained, you will never have anything to worry about. Also, get yourself a set of snow tires and wheels for this. I drove through four inches of snow this past winter without a problem.
Lou, we would like to express our gratitude for going the extra mile and ensuring that everthing was right with our F150 truck.
This truck received alot of remarks and looks.
It was a pleasure doing business with you and you can be sure that my friends and family will hear about Stateline Auto Brokers.
The experience was well worth the drive! There will be no guessing where we go for our next vehicle and where we send more of our friends and relatives. Thanks again!
Review of S40 Volvo

I like the size and style of this smaller Volvo. I wished this this style was still being made. The servicing of this car has been excellent.
I love my S40. I bought it with a manual transmission and all wheel drive and I don’t regret it at all. The engine is responsive and quick, the car has loads of torque across the entire rev range, and the turbo is quick. The chassis is firm. There’s almost no body roll or chassis movements over bumps and potholes. The all wheel drive system along with Volvo safety tech allows me to drive normal roadway speeds in snowy or wet conditions. The interior is minimalistic and well laid out with extremely comfortable seats. I absolutely love this car.
Lillie was wonderful to work with and Jose was very nice. We purchased from the Whitman location and is a first car for our son. So far the car is running great and is in good shape! Only suggestion would be to remove the sticker residue from the windshield before we take it off the lot. Maybe clean the windows and give the car a wash. All around great experience.

I purchased the vehicle for my wife but soon found out that it was safe and fun to drive there is a you tube video of same model s40t with a blower beating a Lamborghini in the 1/4 mile I enjoyed the car so much bought a 2012. S90
Couldn't have had a more pleasant car shopping experience. Tried out 3 cars. Very patient staff. Assisted me in obtaining reasonable insurance right on the spot. Good inventory to choose from. Also they are going to go to registry for me! Happy with my purchase of a 2007 VW Passat. Thank you for a pleasant and easy experience.

With only 13,000 miles, the car looks and drives like it is a brand new car. Both the exterior and interior are in excellent condition.
