I have purchased my last 5 trucks at Autonation Ford Katy

I have purchased my last 5 trucks at Autonation Ford Katy over 20 years. I felt like the winner every single purchase, and they carry trucks with the best options (extended fuel tank, tow package, 4x4, 3.73 rear end, etc) that lost other dealers don?t have many of. Their service department has done well for me for the last 20 years. I don?t trust anyone else to work on my trucks. Their workmanship, professionalism and open communication keeps me coming back.

Dropped my Truck off for some service work.

Dropped my Truck off for some service work. Buddy is my Advisor, but was busy so Austin jumped in to get me taken care of. He had big shoes to fill as Buddy has always provided me with excellent Service. Overall, Austin did a good job. I would like to have a little more communication as the job progressed, but understand I'm not the only Customer with a vehicle in the Shop. I was a little surprised when picking up when it was completed and finding my tan colored all weather mat on the driver's side covered with grease. Austin was very apologetic when I showed him but I opted to take care of it myself. I would think there was some find of quality control before Re-Delivery.

Dealer would not replace front spoiler underskirt that

Dealer would not replace front spoiler underskirt that was torn about 8 inches in on left and right side, or drop 200 on the price because if it. Would only be a matter of time before the pieces were long enough to be run over by front wheels, tearing the entire skirt off and maybe damaging other parts of the front spoiler. He did remove it totally. Also, tried to plan ahead and came from credit union with a BlazeCheck for the car and found it wasn't accepted for some reason, so had to drive back downtown for a cashiers check. So spent most of the day just working to purchase it. By the time I returned with cashiers check, the car still wasn't prepped(fueled up, tags removed, windows cleaned). Another 1.5 hrs of waiting. Its like there was no trust I was actually going to finish the sale, even with great credit rating.

Bought a 2020 Mustang back in June.

Bought a 2020 Mustang back in June. Salesman was good and helpful for sale. Problem with tire from start, blamed it on me. 5 weeks later check engine light comes on. In the shop now waiting on what is wrong. Called General Manager Matt Stevens. Left a voicemail sharing issues and asking for a return call. Nothing. Sent a letter to him and service manager. Nothing. Another dealership where they will take your money and nothing after the sale. Extremely disappointed. Was really hoping I had found a new salesman and dealership. And so many wonder why so many hate buying cars. Not much has changed over the years.
