I was told that the truck I had ordered was ready for
I was told that the truck I had ordered was ready for pickup and when I got to the dealership I was shown a different but similar vehicle. When I asked for the exact truck (and equipment) I was told that this is the same truck but they changed the VIN number. This is not possible, once a vehicle is asigned a Vehicle identification number that is the number forever and will never be changed. This was the precurser to having to demand that I was given equipment that was on the originally ordered truck and was a very uncomfortable conversation. The second untruth was told by the finance manager, I asked if the two protective options were not part of my deal and was told these were mandatory and caouldn't be removed. I know, I should have walked out at this point but the truck was for my wife and son and not something I wanted to explain. The truck is fine, the price was fine but the stories and explanations exercised on me were not okay.
