Perfection

This dealership is one of a kind. You feel like part of a family when you go there instead of a victim. Extremely helpful staff. No pressure at all. They took care of everything for me! This was the 3rd vehicle I purchased from here and I will definitely return.

Honest & Reliable-Again and Again!

A Happy Customer Out West

I live in Arizona and after shopping around for several months, I noticed that Smith Used Cars in Pennsylvania had a Dodge Durango with everything I was looking for posted on AutoTrader. I visited their website and was able to download an AutoCheck report and look over the vehicle's history. I had never purchased a car out-of-state before, but everything looked good, so I reached out to them via email. Matt Grabill responded and worked with me on the price and payment options and, knowing that it wouldn't be possible for me to come out and inspect it in person, agreed to walk me through the car on FaceTime. Once on FaceTime, I could tell right away that Matt was a genuinely friendly and pleasant person to be around. He spent time going over every inch of the vehicle and answering all of my questions. I knew at that moment that this was the Durango I had been looking for and that I wanted to do business with this dealership. Afterward, I asked Matt to send me an invoice, which he did, and we completed the purchase. I worked with John Barone to finalize the paperwork. In the meantime, I was looking into auto transport companies to ship my vehicle out here. Once I made arrangements (through the broker All American Trucking & Transport in Sacramento, CA who contracted it out to Paper Impex USA, Inc), I notified Matt and John and they took care of getting it prepared, inspecting the vehicle with the driver and making sure it was loaded safely. They kept me informed every step of the way. It was loaded up at the dealership on a Tuesday morning and arrived here, in Arizona, five days later on Sunday morning exactly as described (plus a little dust from the trip). We got the dust washed off and it really sparkled. We love it! This has been, hands down, the best vehicle purchase experience I have had! To anyone shopping for a used car, no matter where you are in the country, I highly recommend Smith Used Cars in West Chester, PA. You won't find a friendlier group of people anywhere!

John is our Miracle worker!

You cannot go wrong with this man!!! John is a life saver, miracle worker and an angel!!! My car was totaled 4 days ago and i called john and he led us thrpugh the whole situation.. Going from what was going to have us in a situation with no car and a loan to finish paying off we ended up fighting the amount they were totaling our car out for and we came out on top with my first car (also from john l smith) paid off amd enough money left to put us in a 4 year NEWER car fully loaded without dropping amtrhing extra!! We couldnt of done it without him!!! Thanks to him and ccaf we rode home in our new car today !!! John will pit his neck out for you if you are work your butt off just to get by day to day!!! Enjoyable Experience

I had been looking for a late model, gently used Chrysler 200 for several weeks. I had been checking out dealer lots as well as used car dealers without much luck. When I visited John L Smith I saw the car I had been looking for. I met and spoke with Matt Grabill, who was verfy personable. Over the course of our conversation he educated me about the dealership and gave all the details on the car I was interested in. After arranging a test drive, Matt sat down with me and in a matter of minutes we arrived at a deal. Simple as that- I got the car I wanted and got a great deal too. John Barone, who was also very attentive and friendly, worked out a great financing package for us. and it didn't take long. Overall I can say my car-buying experience was very enjoyable. They have a nice, friendly staff and theres no pressure. I would recommend John L. Smith to my friends and would definitedly come back again.

Buying a used car

Excellent salesmanship; relaxed atmosphere, very comfortable working with the salesman. Will try their best to satisfy and get what the customer is looking for. Hometown dealership which what I prefer. I started out looking for a car at John Smith and ended up buying my car there. What does that say?
