Tehachapi Customer Travels 2 Hrs For Awesome Servi

Great Service!

Driving my Sorrento has truly been a pleasure from the day I purchased it. Even though I did not purchase my vehicle from this dealer, they have always been very polite and accomodating. I will continue to bring my car here for service.

The best folks!

I really enjoy bringing my Sportage in for service at 1st Kia. Robyn and Debbie always have everything ready to go, and call me if any additional service is required. Work is done quickly and with no issues whatsoever. People ask me why I take my car 20 miles for service. My answer is, "they take care of me, and I like them."

Service staff and General Sales Manager are terrible

After leaving a negative review the General Sales Manager prompted me to contact him directly for a resolution. After two emails and a phone call, I've received no response from "Johnny Kia". Very unprofessional. DO NOT buy or have a car serviced at First Kia Simi Valley. I urge you to take your business somewhere else. I had to have warranty work on my 2014 KIA Forte due to the electronic power steering going out at 3300 miles. It's not a big deal, its under warranty, or so I thought. They refused to provide a rental car until after I complained profusely. The car was down for a week and not having a rental car would not be a viable option. They "fix" the issue by replacing the steering column, however, they did it wrong. When I got the car back the steering wheel controls did not work, the power steering was sloppy, and the steering wheel was not put on straight. Turns out the technician didn't plug the electronics back in and put the steering wheel back on crooked. I take it back and tell them to fix it right this time. They flat out refused a rental car this time even though the mistake was their fault. Even after complaining about it again, they refused a second rental car. So much for having a car to drive to work. Two days later, they plug the electronics back in and say they put the steering wheel back on straight. The electronics on the steering wheel work again, but guess what; the steering wheel is still not straight! This isn't rocket science, put the wheel on straight! Instead, when I have the wheel straight the car pulls to the right! In order to go straight the steering wheel has to be turned to the left. RIDICULOUS! I take it back and they refuse to correct it or do anything to compensate for the inconvenience, stating that the wheel is on as straight as they can get it. BS! The wheel is cocked to the left by 20 degrees!!! A simple alignment and toe adjustment will fix the issue, no need to take the steering wheel off! This should have been done when the steering column was replaced under warranty in the first place! They flat out refuse to fix their mistake or service my vehicle. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS!

Great service by Cory the salesperson

Cory the salesman was courteous and was helpful in teaching me how the on screen technology works and said if I had any other problems he would be more then happy to help.

Great Sales Representative and Financial Rep

Michael my sales rep was great!!! He took the time to listen to what I wanted and what I could afford and let me test drive several great cars. He worked hard to make it a great experience. George in Finance was also great! He explained things step by step and answered all my questions about financing and payments. He spent extra time and effort in getting me a loan and payment that worked great for me.

Great service

Robyn Randle expedited the servicing of my car in a pleasant and efficient manner.(oil change, tire rotation).The techs had the car back to me in one hour.Excellent service! This is the second time Iv'e seviced my car here, it won't be the last. Thank You.

Why would i ever go anywhere else?

I used to go to one of those "JIFFY" places. After they ruined my oil pan i started going to the dealer. They get it done correctly and for less money, check for any updates to the car. I will only go to the dealer with my cars.

Chuck was very friendly and went after the deal. I had no intention of changing vehicles when I came in . I honestly didn't think it was possible . He did a great job selling me on the idea of a different car.
