St Augustine Nissan was, by far, the best car buying
St Augustine Nissan was, by far, the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Our salesman, David Leon was friendly, honest, very accommodating and just an all-around nice guy. He went out of his way to listen and help us find the perfect vehicle at the price we wanted to pay. No pressure, just David doing his best to make it happen. We also got great service from his supervisor, Mike Sabadosa, who helped move forward with a no- haggle, fair deal on the car we wanted. Great team. We will definitely go back to them in the future!

Never have I seen more employees walking around looking
Never have I seen more employees walking around looking at their phones. Not friendly, mostly ignored. Show room, one sports car and nothing but tables and chairs? The atmosphere at this dealership has changed and not for the better. They botched my service visit, failed to reinstall a mud flap. It was in my passenger seat when leaving, after an expensive oil change. It had issues twice before. Will be doing business much closed to home. No more 50 mile RT to see / use dealer. They previously had always been excellent to do business with.

I had an outstanding experience at Nissan in St Augustine
I had an outstanding experience at Nissan in St Augustine working with Mike Sabadossa. Mike is the most professional, knowledgeable, and friendly sales manager I’ve ever met—honest and truly committed to excellent customer service. The process was quick, easy, and stress-free from start to finish. Mike helped my son buy his first new car, a Nissan Sentra, and got us a great deal within our budget. I’ve purchased many vehicles and Mike is simply the best! If you’re searching for a car dealership near me in St Augustine or want a trustworthy Nissan dealer for any budget, I highly recommend asking for Mike.

BUYER BEWARE.
BUYER BEWARE. We purchased a 2021 Toyota Sienna from Nissan of St. Augustine on August 4, 2025. At the time of purchase, the SRS Airbag Malfunction warning was clearly illuminated on the dashboard. We raised this concern immediately. The salesperson (Chase) acknowledged it, told us it was “just a sensor issue,” and assured us it would be covered under Toyota’s warranty. We were told the vehicle had been fully inspected and had “no known issues.” Based on those assurances, we proceeded with the purchase. Within days, we took the van to Toyota of Tampa Bay as instructed. Toyota’s inspection revealed multiple airbag fault codes and a damaged wiring harness that leaves the passenger-side airbags completely inoperative. They advised the vehicle is unsafe to drive, the repair is not covered under warranty, and labor alone would exceed $5,000. Their exact words: “Without replacement, the passenger-side airbags will not deploy in a collision.” We returned to Nissan of St. Augustine for resolution. The General Manager Kal Mousa admitted they bought the van at auction and relied on the auction’s word that it passed safety inspection. But here’s the problem: the dealership never performed its own due diligence before putting the van up for sale. The airbag warning was visible on the dashboard — yet they still represented the car as fully inspected and safe to drive. After weeks of back-and-forth, the dealership has only offered to “refund the purchase price.” That ignores the thousands of dollars of damages, lost time, and disruption this transaction has caused. We paid $42,750 in cash, lost wages taking time off work to travel for this purchase, drove across the state, paid for insurance, and are now left without a family vehicle for our newborn and toddler. Meanwhile, Nissan of St. Augustine refuses to provide any compensation for the harm their negligence caused. This is not just poor service — it is reckless and unsafe business practice. Selling a vehicle with an obvious, known safety defect and then hiding behind “auction assurances” is inexcusable. If they had done their job and performed a proper inspection, none of this would have happened. We have since filed complaints with the Florida DMV Bureau of Dealer Services and the Florida Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. I strongly caution anyone considering a vehicle from this dealership: be prepared for misrepresentation, lack of accountability, and unsafe vehicles being passed off as “inspected.”

A great dealership.
A great dealership. Got a really nice vehicle under market price as far as we’re concerned for the mileage that was on it or is on it shall I say. Our sales person at the Nissan Of St Augustine was Edward. He did a very good job. He went above and beyond what he needed to do to make sure of the car having insurance because of a big mixup, but he took care of it. A happy new car owner thanks to Edward!!
