Final Exit AutoNation/Mini of the Woodlands
To All, Sorry for the late submission, I have been out of town. I wanted to finish my exit with AutoNation, Mini of the Woodlands. On my 2015 Ford F250, that had the Diesel Particulate Filtration system out in it, I had contacted the Service Manager, Kara Morich, on Saturday, May 23, 2022, regarding the part needed for my truck. It was supposed to arrive on the 23rd.On 26 May, it still had not shown up and Mrs. Morich stated the part had not been released. At that point, I requested that AutoNation buy the truck back from me, plus all the repairs I had done to the truck. She informed me that she would let the General Manager, Kevin Marino, know my wishes. I needed a truck to drive. On the 27th of May, the part still had not arrived, so Mr. Marino reached out to the Customer Care Director to see about the buyback process. During this time, I tallied up all the money spent on this truck, plus my trade-ins and money given back from AutoNation, and came up with a price I thought was fair. I didn’t want any more or less from the buyback ,just what I had in it. On the 28th, they received approval for the buyback. On Tuesday, 31 May, 2022, I gave one last chance for the part to come in. And it hadn’t. I sent Mr. Marino an email with the figures I had come up with. He advised that they seemed feasible and he can make that happen. On June 1, 2022, I received a check for the remaining amount, and a few days later, the loan through my credit union was paid off. I wanted to give credit where credit is due. Kevin Marino and Kara Morich are people of their word. They WILL stand by you and ensure you are taking care of. I had some doubts in the beginning, but actions speak louder than words. We might not have gotten off to a great start, but finished on a sweet note. These two individuals maintained their professionalism, their conduct and showed me integrity, all the while I was being a little difficult. Two of the best in the business. They kept me informed, they were fair, they helped when I had a family emergency, going out of their way. In the end, I have no ill feelings for AutoNation and I certainly have respect for Kevin Marino and Kara Morich. Thank you both for making the end of my experience a pleasant one. When I am looking for a Mini Cooper, they will definitely be my choice. Thank you for everything that you did and the outstanding service you provided. I will not forget that. Respectfully, John P. Best Quality Service
