After 4 Brand New Minis, I Did Not Expect This
This is my 4th brand new MINI. Bought 3 of them at Mini of the Woodlands. It was time for first service (2-door 2020 Cooper S.) Made appointment. Also indicated that Front collision and Pedestrian Collision indicators had been on indicating malfunction for a while. It's included in the REPAIR ORDER DETAIL 928776. Paid someone to drive my car to the Woodlands as I live in College Station and had to work (90-minute drive each way). When car returned oil was changed, tires rotated, and malfunction alerts were still ON. I looked at the RO copy and even though it says "Client states vehicle is displaying multiple malfunctions", no word or additional information was provided to my friend who drove the car or myself. As soon as I got my car back I called Mini of the Woodlands. Whomever answered the phone was not helpful and said the alerts were not dealt with it because the windshield was "messed up". I asked him to clarify what he meant by "messed up" and he said in a very unprofessional way that it was not their responsibility as the windshield was "messed up." I asked to speak with the shop's manager, he implied that that would not make a difference. I asked again and after waiting close to 10 minutes Keith (not sure about his job title or if the name is accurate but I called on October 6, 2020 between 12-2pm) answered the phone. We had a long conversation. I told him about the incident. He said he would do some research and call me back. He called me back a few minutes later. He asked about the windshield. I told him months ago it was replaced by an Allstate contractor, Safelite but the alerts were not on after I got the car back. At some point later alerts came on and around same time the Service reminders and indicators started to appear so I thought, they'll take care of this at the dealership. Except they didn't. Not only that, but they didn't notify me that they were not going to. There was no oral or written explanation when the car was returned. Keith only knew about this because I called. He explained to my, by way of hypothetical scenarios (that's a first) that "if you break something, would you expect someone else to pay for it?" I asked him to not use scenarios and focus on the terrible customer service experience I was dealing with right there. He said he was "offended" as they truly care about customer service, which, up until October 6 had been my experience with previous 3 Minis and my current one that I purchased there in December. Keith basically told me that if Safelite made a mistake it wasn't Mini of the Woodland's responsibility. I explained to him that my car is financed through BMW Finance, which requires insurance, hence my Allstate Account, which requires approved contractors, hence Safelite and he said (paraphrasing) that it wasn't their responsibility. I asked if they were planning on letting me know at least that NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE ABOUT THE MALFUNCTION INDICATORS. He said that was very strange and would have to find more information about it. He said he would call me back that afternoon (October 6). Later than night, I DID NOT receive a call from Keith or ANYONE at Mini of the Woodlands. It was a Tuesday. NO ONE CALLED that week. I ended up calling myself AGAIN on Friday, October 9 and asked to speak to the General Manager. The person who answered the phone said he worked in sales and that there was no General Manager onsite (strange, maybe?) but kindly said that he would make sure the Customer Service Manager would called me. He mentioned HER name but I do not remember. I am yet to hear from them. IT HAS BEEN 13 days and no one has called. For a company that spends so many resources building customer loyalty, I am still dumbfounded and have to deal with the malfunction alerts every time I get in my car. By far, the worst customer experience I've had with MINI Cooper and for sure with MINI of the Woodlands. Ready to switch brands honestly and wishing I hadn't gotten a new model last December.

I had a good experience except for the loaner car that I received had no gas in it?and when I picked up my vehicle it was not washed like I was told.?
