I was pleased with the customer care until it came time...

I was pleased with the customer care until it came time to figure out a price. I had studied their inventory online and had a pretty good idea how much their market adjustments were. I understand reasonable market adjustments and I'm okay with that. But as we talked price, the market adjustment doubled. Anyone who I think is fishing to see how much they can get out of me, loses all credibility. I've done my homework. I said I would think about it. As I was leaving, all of a sudden, the price went down. If they can offer me a lower price as I'm leaving, they should offer me the same as I walk in. Now, someone else will get my business.

They sold as a broken car, they said 100 covered to get it fix. We don't have a vehicle or loaner as of today. No one calls us back to see how things are going. Any authorized dealer they said. The car has been in the shop 3 weeks.

Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware! My experience was absolutely abysmal! I purchased a used Kia Sedona there in April of 2020. At that time I purchased the extended warranty because their Finance Manager Attia said it would be as good as if not better than the manufacturer's warranty. In October 2021 we had engine issues in which my service claim was denied and would have to pay $13,000 to repair. I was told by both the Service Manager, Blair, and now General Manager, Attia, that under the normal manufacturer's warranty it would have been covered and were confused why it wasn't being covered. They said they would call the warranty company to get them to reconsider the denial and update me. I was never called and had to call back more than 5 times over the next 2 weeks to get an update, which Kia never had for me. Finally, I got information from the warranty company that they would have to do a tear down of the engine. I went into the dealership to get an update and was given 3 options: Go somewhere else, Do the teardown, which would cost me $1000 and could still be denied, or take a very low offer on the van if I was willing to pick something else on the lot. If I took the 2nd option, the 3rd option was off the table and based on conversations I overheard between Attia and Blair I was given the impression that the Kia team would be fairly apathetic and not very cooperative if I opted for the teardown. So, 3rd option in hand, I selected a vehicle and was almost immediately told, "any car, but that one" unless I wanted to pay more for it. I finally selected a different vehicle and spent the "obligatory" 2 hours getting papers ready and signed and went on my way only to asked by the GM if I got the extended warranty on my vehicle. In my opinion, he was either being snide or clueless with this remark and I did not receive it well, but went on my way. This is a case of 2 things leverage (taking advantage of someone) and negligent misrepresentation (or possibly fraudulent misrepresentation). Leverage, because they had all of it and took advantage of me and my family and possibly committed a bait and switch compliance issue. Negligent misrepresentation because they sell a product and don't know the full terms of the coverage, but represent them as something they are not. This is fraud and is evidenced by the fact that both the General Manager and Service Manager thought it should be covered and told me this several times. Do not go here! If the GM is exhibiting unethical behavior, it's likely it resonates throughout the dealership and is quite unfortunate.
