I purchased my used Ford Explorer from Sunset Ford in Waterloo on a whim. I was loosely looking for a different vehicle and their selection was scarce. Kyle invited us inside to see what was online to check the inventory at their St. Louis location. We did and found a gem in StL that was precisely what I was looking for. We purchase the car in January 2021 with 25,000 miles on it, and quickly learned the driver's seat heater did not work. Although I took a 2 minute trip around the lot in it on the day I came to purchase it, I did not notice this. Kyle was able to get the heater replaced at no charge. A short time later the wheel bearing started making noise. That was replaced under warranty. Kelly in the service department was nice and pleasant to deal with. My only disappointment was they would not loan me a car to use for the day so I could go to work (in StL). I would have to rent one if I wanted to do that. Needless to say I was stuck using vacation days at work and waiting on my car to be repaired. While waiting, Kyle walked by and was very apologetic and sincere about my inconvenience. Fast forward 8 months from purchase date. Yesterday in the mail, I was surprised to find a heartfelt note and sizeable gift card from Ford Motor Company in my mailbox apologizing again for my disappointment and inconvenience. I was stunned and elated that a company would go so far as to reach out to me 8 months later to try to make things right. FMC, you are a class act! Thank you.

We had great experience with Joe and the staff from Sunset Ford dealership at both locations actually! Would highly recommend them! The best part was when we pick up our vehicle Joe made sure we knew about all of the gadgets and tricks with our vehicle to assure we would have the best experiences moving forward. The app is amazing as well! Joe is the best! Thanks for all your hard work finding us the vehicle we wanted!

Kelly was very helpful I would give her a 5 star for customer service I had a bad experience with Ford roadside and I was a little obnoxious with sunset Ford but she made a bad experience much better she did follow up and everything needless to say she got my escape in and out to be repaired for a recall and was very professional
