Awful Service
I am writing to express my disappointment with the services provided by your dealership regarding my 2022 Ford Maverick. Unfortunately, my experience with your team has been nothing short of unsatisfactory. Upon receiving my vehicle back, I immediately noticed that there were greasy handprints on both the visor and headliner. This was extremely disappointing as these areas are frequently used and visible, making the handprints even more noticeable. Additionally, I noticed that plastic components had been cut and removed improperly, and there were several scratches and stains on the vehicle that were not present before I brought it in for service. What is even more concerning is the fact that my vehicle was in your dealership's possession for almost 4 months and nothing was done to it. This is unacceptable, as I entrusted your team with the responsibility of servicing my vehicle, and my expectations were not met. Overall, my experience with Autonation Ford Westlake has been extremely unsatisfactory. I had high hopes for the quality of service provided by your team, but unfortunately, those expectations were not met. I hope that in the future, your team can take greater care and attention to detail when handling and servicing vehicles.

Appointment was easy to make, we were able to have it
Appointment was easy to make, we were able to have it worked in within the week, we dropped the car off, we were contacted that day, the estimate was very close to actual cost, they did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it, at the cost and time they told us. The car drives like new, we love the car and this was the first major work we had done, after 9 years and 116,000 miles, we can't complain. Our only wish was that Ford would start making cars again as we will not be buying an SUV.

Service and warranty experience
Purchased 2019 Dodge minivan in Feb. Told that there was a 4 mo. or 4000 mi. warranty. 4/23/23, van was serviced because check engine light, traction control light and van won't go into gear intermittently. Serv dept did a diagnostic and discovered problem. Wasn't covered by warranty. Part was going to cost over $400 to replace. We declined and was charged $160 for diagnostic. Quite disappointing. What is the purpose of warranty, if you still have to pay for diagnosis and you still have the same problem. Which is a safety issue. Prev. would have recommended AutoNation Westlake. No longer.
