⭐ 0 Star Review but it wasn’t an option! “Extremely Disappointed After Years of Loyalty” I’ve been a loyal customer of Napleton Autowerks in Schererville Infiana for nearly 10 years and have purchased two Mercedes-Benz vehicles from them — first with Victor, and later with Juan. I’ve always done my service here as well, but after my most recent experience, I can confidently say I’ll never return or recommend this dealership again. When I bought my Mercedes (i took an Uber from Chicago to Indiana. It was (a GLC 250), it began shifting into neutral while I was driving, within the first week. I brought it in multiple times — at least five different visits, and they had my car for weeks — only to be told they couldn’t find the issue. Eventually, it turned out that a remote starter installed by the previous owner had caused major electrical damage, costing over $4,000 in repairs. I was extremely patient through all of this, trusting they’d do the right thing. Fast-forward to today (October 14, 2025). I brought my second Mercedes in for an A0 service. I was told the cost would be $385 plus tax, and I had a coupon to apply. When I arrived, I dealt with Jovan, who mentioned I might also need new tires. As he walked away, another staff member handed me a tire coupon, which was confusing since Jovan had already said they were not accepting service coupons. When I checked out, I tried again to use my coupon and was told by the cashier that they aren’t taking coupons for service — even though they literally sent me one in the mail. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told he’d already left. Jovan came out and repeated that they don’t take them. The whole situation felt unprofessional and inconsistent. What made things worse is that after I paid $426 (which seemed like just for an oil change), another salesman I believe named Dwayne approached me about buying a new car — at that point, I was already too frustrated to even consider it. I told him and Primo, who spoke with me outside, that this experience had cost them a loyal customer over a $150 coupon. Primo apologized and took my information, and a picture of my coupon saying he’d follow up — but the damage was already done. After nearly a decade and two purchases from Napleton Autowerks, I’m walking away completely disappointed. The lack of consistency, accountability, and respect for loyal customers is unacceptable. I’ll be servicing and purchasing my vehicles elsewhere moving forward.

The Service Manager Joe Durant is one of the most

The Service Manager Joe Durant is one of the most disrespectful service department managers that I have ever had the opportunity to interact with. It is very sad and unfortunate that you find a organizations to find every excuse under the son to assist you and then when you call them out out in their upper management even the dealerahip's ownership treats you like garbage and do not care about anything regarding attempt to keep or retaining customers. The level of arrogance and lack of professionalism is complete in comprehensive.

The sales person didn’t know anything about the car.

The sales person didn’t know anything about the car. The rear fenders were scratched up. Not worth the asking price.

We took our 2024 AMG GLE53 to Napleton Autowerks for the initial oil change. The service was terrible, the wait [notwithstanding having a prior scheduled appointment] was several hours in the store. The price of the oil change was astronomical (over $500US), and to add insult to injury—- we discovered that our wheel locks were missing upon the vehicle being returned to us. We wrote a scathing review and the manager called and asked if we would remove our review if we received a replacement wheel lock set. Seeking to be amenable, we agreed. Despite two months having elapsed, and several calls to the Napleton store, we had not received our Wheel Locks; but rather nothing but a runaround. PLEASE Think Twice about having your vehicle serviced by these inconsiderate xxxxxxxx. If not, you will regret it. We Certainly Do!!!

I inquired about a 2012 MB R350 and this dealership will NOT sell you a vehicle unless you are physically present to sign documents. They should acknowledge this fact in the advertising. Beware if you are not willing to fly/drive to this dealership you CANNOT purchase a vehicle. Terrible.

Horrible customer service with giving 2 different prices

Horrible customer service with giving 2 different prices on the Benz . Saying one price and then saying it’s 3500.00 more. Some shady stuff going on. Spend your money elsewhere. The mamagment team should do better.

From start to finish this team made our car buying

From start to finish this team made our car buying experience an unbelievable success. We were in the market for a used Volvo S60 but didn't know where to begin. With one call to Vince we had a car located that checked all of our boxes plus some. A week later we were introduced to Holly who gave us top tier customer service and made the buying process painless. Finally we worked with Jeff to finalize things and he helped complete our purchase with the same great attention to customer service and care as the rest of the team. We absolutely love the car they found for us and feel that the low pressure / high customer care experience was second to no other car purchase we have made before.

Deceptive lending practices-Buyer Beware-Unethical

I purchased a 2017 Tacoma. I told them upfront I have excellent credit and will not be be paying "loan origination fees" as I know there are banks/lending institutions that do NOT charge these fees. My salesman should me my "pencil" deal and it did not have these fees. I felt good about. Took the deal. Showed up the next day and signed the paperwork and drove. Later, upon further reviewing my paperwork, there was a "Prepaid Finance Charge Paid to Seller" for $195.00. Didn't show up in bottom line sale, but rolled into interest rate. Totally deceptive. When I spoke to a manager (Jeff) he stated, "It is silly." Why would any lending practices by silly? It's designed this way to sneak it past as consumer. Read the fine print, take you time, they will throw in surprises. I'd never go back and NEVER recommend.
