I made an appointment with Hayden Waters today specifically to look at the new Hyundai Palisade. We had already had a pretty lengthy conversation previously... to my appointment to go and look at the car today. After waiting for 45 minutes to know if I was approved for the car that I wanted, and giving Hayden all of my information, I was told that I was APPROVED for the Palisade and was also told what my down payment would need to be for the PALISADE. I told him that I wanted to actually see the car and test drive it before I committed to anything. He said “OK I’ll go grab the keys and I’ll be right back“. Immediately after that we went out into the parking lot and he told me that he wanted to show me a different car? This was a sedan that was WAY too small after I told him I would only take an SUV. I told him I did not want to look at any of the cars and that I wanted to look at the PALISADE that I made the appointment for and that he said I was approved for. He went inside and was gone for about 10 minutes and then came out driving a DIFFERENT car and tried to sell me that one. I told him that I only was interested in viewing the PALISADE. I asked him “so was my approval not actually for the palisade like you told me it was?” After staring at me like I was an idiot, he said well no. I told him I wanted the keys to the car that I drove there as it was supposed to be a trade-in and instead of going inside to get me my keys he got into the car and said “not my problem” and proceeded to drive around the building in the other car. I had to walk back into the dealership building and literally go into someone’s office to get my keys because he wouldn’t give them to me so I could leave. I used to work in sales and cannot believe how unprofessional Hayden was. Not a single person in the building apologized to me for my experience (they were all men). So this was a typical situation where men thought that they could take advantage of “dumb girls” because they didn’t have any men with them. I was lied to, played with, and wasn’t listened to. DO NOT GO HERE.
Hallmark Hyundai price bracket is pretty decent and affordable! I drove from Chattanooga to Hendersonville to buy a certified pre owned car which was 1500... less than the cars in Chattanooga. Teisha, sales consultant was awesome and helpful. The manager and the group looked energetic and friendly. Transparent and reliable dealer.
This was the easiest experience I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. The staff was not just courteous, but very friendly and personable.... The facility was clean and well taken care of. Their prices were better than any I could find in my hometown. But the most surprising, and the nicest, part of my experience was the sales team, specifically, Marcelo Defreitas. My first visit there, I was a little pressed for time and really just wanted to look at one car in particular. Marcelo accompanied me on my test drive, explaining the different features, functions, and the warranty of the car as we drove. By riding with me and answering all my questions at the same time, Marcelo really saved me a lot of time. When we returned to the dealership, Marcelo told me I could take the car with me, check it out a little bit more, see how it performed on the interstate, etc. He did not try to delay me in any way and was extremely considerate of the fact that I had to get back to work. I did take the car with me as he offered. He did not call me throughout the day to see how I liked the car, or what time I would be coming back with the car, or for any other reasons. As a matter of fact, I called him later in the evening to let him know I was on my way back, and he told me not to rush and that if I didn't make it back until the following day, then that was perfectly fine! Wow! He didn't try to oversell the vechicle. He didn't pin me down and try to pressure me into a sale. He just let me know he was there to answer any questions I might have and that he would help me in any way that he could. I really appreciated the fact that he wasn't into high pressure selling, as that is a definite turn off for me. (And for most people I know!) Overall, the staff was great, the facility was very attractive, but Marcelo Defreitas is THE #1 reason why I will definitely return to Hallmark Hyundai for any and all of my future vehicle purchases! P.S. The fact that Marcelo is a strong Christian with a desire to share his faith and his life blessings with his customers is just one more thing to apprecitate about him!!

I had a great experience working with Cameron at Hallmark Hyundai. He was very easy to work with and very professional. Cameron worked tirelessly with... his sales manager to help me purchase a certified preowned Hyundai Elantra. Because of my past credit history, I didn't think I would get approved for a car loan, but I was able to get financed. I have been very pleased with my purchase.
We had heard good things about the Hyundai Palisade and went to just take a look. Hayden was informative and helpful showing the car and even being our... chauffeur. (It was close to closing time and we didn't want to take up time with the test drive.) We went back the next day to actually do a test drive. Again, we were just looking and had checked out other cars. The Palisade and dealership were so nice, our Telluride became a Palisade and came home with us that night!
I was greeted very pleasantly by Cameron as soon as I walked into the dealership. He was very helpful by asking questions and really listened to me and... what I was wanting. He was knowledgeable on the cars that I was interested in and did everything to make my buying experience great!!!
