I purchased the extended service and I had taken my RAV4...

I purchased the extended service and I had taken my RAV4 in 11 times for the interval service (5,000 mile service) and never had to pay anything. The 12th time I was told it would cost me $570. I said I would not pay that and wondered why I all of a sudden had to pay. They told me I needed some services that were not called for in the maintenance manual and not covered by the extended service agreement I had purchased. One of the things they said I needed was flush and refill of the inverter cooling system. The service manual says to inspect the coolant in that system. That item on the checklist was not checked off, so I assume that was not done. If the services are necessary, why aren't they listed in the service manual and if they're not necessary why should I pay for them? Was this an attempt to gouge me? I told them to just do the things that were covered by the extended service agreement. Among those things was tire rotation. When I got home I checked the pressure in the tires and all four were underinflated, so I have to wonder if they did the rotation, since every other time I have had it done the tires were slightly overinflated. What else didn't get done? I'll never know. You have to trust whoever does these things and what went on this last time has certainly given me reason to doubt whether I can trust Performance Toyota.

I went in to get an oil change and to get my tire...

I went in to get an oil change and to get my tire repaired that had a nail in it and they charged me $40 to repair my tire. It’s safe to say I won’t be back.

My service person named Mark. fixed a small part on my car in a few seconds. Before that someone else told me I had to have an appointment to fix my coin holder. He was amazing nice and fast. He didn’t waste everyone’s time for a small issue

Good service, emmisions test, and on the spot renewal of registration was very easy and convenient. Also complimentary muli point inspection and car wash. I would recommend Performance Tyoda to my friends.

My family has been coming to you guys for 30 years and the worst thing that ever happened was the transition from Menlove. Its never been the same. Seems like every time I come for the most basic of oil changes something happens. (You don’t use the oil I bring for you to use. It takes you over an hour and half to do an oil change when I’m the first one in there for the day. And most recently you overcharge on what little oil was still needed to top it off. The expectation when I come in there now is “I wonder what will go wrong this time.”

Andrew was very helpful in getting my issue resolved. It could have been a lengthy and drawn out process, but he made it super simple! He was communicative and let me know what my expectations should be with regard to how long it would take to fix my car.

I’ve been to multiple Toyota dealers for service of my Rav4. Some great, some not great. I highly recommend Bountiful Toyota’s service department. Never had an issue and they are always friendly and informative.
