Recently I was in search of a car. The one problem I had however was my dislike of the car buying process. A friend who had recently purchased a BMW highly suggested that I give BMW of Silver Spring, more specifically a salesperson there by the name of Harold Shelby a call. After weeks of shopping around at several car dealerships in the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia area and encountering for example, either a " hurray-up you have to make a decision" push, to an, "I'll email you the invoice price in the morning" with no follow-through; I quickly became tired and frustrated with the process. A week ago I decided to give Mr. Shelby at BMW of Silver Spring a try. From the moment of the introduction, Mr. Shelby was welcoming, professional and very knowledgeable about the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing (I had never owned a BMW before). During the test drive he was especially patient and helpful as he taught me about the many features that are a part of the vehicle. Finally after deciding to purchase the vehicle, he literally walked me through the purchasing process making the process not only seamless but quick. I was finished with the actual purchasing process in about 2 hours. My entire experience was completely stress free. Brittany is amazing! She made our car buying experience an absolute pleasure, from start to finish. She is kind and thoughtful, and confident without being pushy. She was patient — with me (as well as my 3 kids!). I really feel like she had my best interests in mind- she worked to get us a great deal and I truly couldn’t be happier! If you’re thinking of a BMW, drop everything and talk to Brittany Barrett at Silver Spring BMW. She made our entire experience an absolute joy (I don’t I’ve ever used “joy” in describing the car buying process!). But with Brittany we were blown away. She (quite literally) went the extra mile and drove our new car to our house and picked up our trade-in. It’s like we never lifted a finger! It was not only effortless, but she just made the whole thing a pleasure. I can’t recommend her enough- a true stand out!
