DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! I was looking at a car over there. I liked the car and also agreed to their price. Before closing the deal I checked the car by a mechanic. There was a lot of major problems with the car. Therefore I said, I won’t take it. They said they were gonna fix everything but I said no. As a customer I think I have the freedom to decide whether I will buy the car or not. After I said no, they got angry!!! One indian/Pakistani guy came and started yelling at me!! He even started speaking Hindi/Urdu. Even though I said, I don’t understand what you’re saying . It seemed like that if you go there you have to buy their car. Otherwise they will get angry and yell at you. It was my beyond imagination that a car dealer can behave like this with a customer!!!!

Shady finances. Avoid!

I looked into buying a car with this dealership last year, and I should have listened to the other awful reviews. I authorized them to check my credit score once, and they did a hard pull on my credit score with five different banks. So, if you are looking to buy a car with them they will wreck your credit score if you do not ultimately decide to buy. On another note, I tried calling their finance office for a week, and no one answered, and the mailbox is always full. This place is shady. Do not buy a car here.

BEWARE. BAD BUSINESS.

If I could give negative stars I would. I had discussed a vehicle on 3 occassions with two different sales people and the sales manager. My first conversation was with "Samuel" he was supposed to check the asking price for the vehicle and call me back. I got no return call. The following day I called back and spoke with the sales manager. He was helpful and made me an appointment, due to the fact I was driving over 300 miles and confirmed the appointment the day before I came. He assurred me the car would be available for me when I got there. I showed up for my appointment and they sold the car to someone while I was test driving it. The response I got from the salesman "Samuel" was that's business! Bad business is what that is. In addition to that experience. The dealership is an old garage, the building and sales people are very unprofessional and honestly it is quite sketchy. Take your hard earned dollars somewhere deserving of your business. Somewhere else which is NOT Automax Atlanta.

Worst car buying experience of a lifetime

First called them to inquire about a truck, I talked to a number of people, finally settled on dealing with one the manager Cleveland, The only one with some competence. The others were bad. The only reason is I wanted the truck, and I was going to get it because it was still under factory warranty so anything wrong I could have it corrected or so I thought. Bought it site unseen took delivery at the airport. Truck was filthy. I found out the some systems didn't work on it, the truck had been wrecked and covered up with a grill, what could've been stolen from it was, the battery, spare was flat, tire iron and lug wrench was gone, bumper sensors were missing. Drove it back to Florida found that the roof rubber spacers were ripped off, covered under warranty. The dealer charged me 599.99 for dealer prep fee. For what cost of stealing everything? Stay as far away as possible.DO NOT DEAL WITH!!!

You live and you learn, but really don’t waste your time

My advice is to just stay as far away from this place as possible. I was interested in purchasing a car from them from out of state and eventually ended up putting a deposit on the car. After a few red flags: reading endless bad reviews on car websites and the better business bureau, also while reading through the paperwork it involved signing a arbitration agreement. Eventually I decided not to purchase the car and was told by the sales manager Carl Lee and another employee Manny that I would receive my deposit back. That did not happen. No one would take my phone calls and my texts were ignored, after being hounded for weeks to purchase the car, they all of sudden stopped taking my calls and text... imagine that.... Manny was the only one who would reciprocate my calls or texts but he just talked in circles and made false promises. I had a terrible experience dealing with this dealership, but I’m beyond grateful I only lost a few hundred dollars and did not actually purchase the car from them. You live and you learn.

Horrible experience

I have had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER from this dealership!!! I gave this place a 1 star for the simple fact of customer service. I've actually bought 2 cars at the same from them and got treated like dirt. The salesman sold me broken promises and his approaches was the craziest ever from raising his voice to cursing at me (after my down payment was already taken). 1. Free shipping is false. He told me he would PERSONALLY deliver my vehicles. I had to end up catching a bus from Columbia to Atlanta to pick them up only to find out only 1 was ready after being told they both were. Signed to the contracts for both same day without leaving with my other vehicle was told it would be ready the next day (that was a lie). I had to wait a week then ended up meeting him halfway. .Wasted my gas and time was told I'll get reimbursed for my trip that never happened. ****This is only the beginning..... On my way back to Columbia the oil light came on the vehicle after Shawn the "salesman" told me they did a 100% vehicle inspection on the vehicle which I asked for proof was never emailed the inspection. Talked to Carl the "owner" from what Shawn told me (which turned out to be another lie) told me to bring the car to a shop in their area where they would have the car repaired being that I've only had the car for 2 weeks. Only to drive all the way back for them to say "oh we cant fo anything." I've invested alot into this company only to be treated like I owed them something. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND PLEASE DONT BY A FORIEGN CAR YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. Update....2 months later had to sell the car get into more debt because the ENGINE was bad which is something they knew as well before selling the car. 12k down the drain in a matter of months.

Great Customer Service

Great service at Automax, Manny took care of me from start to finish very helpful, patient, friendly and honest. Good selection of used cars smooth and straight up process. Had the car delivered to my work place paperwork handled and complete car accessories delivered best experience and deal I've had buying a car certainly better than a large size dealership. Mannys customer service outstanding.

Great customer service

Loved that even after our purchase, this dealership went above and beyond to correct a problem, despite the fact they had no legal requirement to do so. Their response to us was amazingly prompt, courteous, and effective.

Good service

Friendly service in a low-pressure environment. The best part was that after we made our purchase, Jose still responded to a concern we had within minutes of our emailing him. Though the dealership had no requirement to do so, they made things right for us when we found a minor problem after purchase.
