Best car buying experience I have had!!!
Best buying experience ever! I have bought many cars over the past years. From multiple dealerships in the area from Lincolns to Cadillac. No dealership matched the experience that I had with this dealership!! Jordan the salesman was very knowledgeable of the cars he showed me, every question I asked he knew the answer not once did he say I can find out or I can get back with you on that. He was patient with me- I took 3 trips into the dealership and looked and test drove different cars. The best price for my trade in than any dealership between the Indiana line to Laporte Indiana. Never did they downgrade or pick at my trade like other dealerships, they gave me an excellent market value for my trade and best price for my new car. Other dealerships talked down to me-my opinion-because I was a single woman. Not this dealership. Jordan gave me respect and answered all my questions. Made my buying experience an easy one.He was laid back and down to earth no pressure to make my decision in a hurry. Once I made my mind up on buying the car I was out the door and driving my new car in record time. Chris the sales manager was excellent as well. Made it known he stood behind his salesman and the cars he had to sell. I highly recommend this dealership to all single woman looking to buy a new vehicle and want to be treated equally. I walked in with a price in mind and spent exactly that. I bought the best car in my opinion I could get with my trade and cash I had to spend. No disappointments as I pulled out of the dealership.

Their General Manager Art is a nice guy and values his customers. Had a small issue with their service Manager Randy but Art was very willing to help me resolve the issue. Would still recommend this place.

Absolutely the best buying experience in my life the salesman Jordan Gatzka easy to talk to I feel like he was on my side throughout the whole process will recommend him to everyone I know. In the finance department had me in and out and Michelle work very hard for us it was much appreciated.

Came in skeptical about being able to finance a new 2016 dodge challenger... but after a few hours and a great sales experience I was able to drive off the lot in my new vehicle that day. My credit wasn't very good but they were able to finance me a really nice vehicle at a good rate. Thank you for all of your great service.

**Updated 06/29/2022** Holy crap has our experience changed from when they were Michigan City CDJR. The sales process starts with what you’re interested in and quickly morphs into them showing you a vehicle without a known price and they won’t give you a trade in or estimated payment even if you know your credit because “you’ll just use it to shop us.” Tabitha is very smart and knows her vehicles, but very slimy. She hinted that we should work out a deal without my girlfriend around as some sort of favor to me. We informed management of what happened and they found it to be acceptable to not provide pricing, estimated trade value (unless you sign intent to purchase), and sneak around behind your partner’s back to make a large purchase. **Original** I'll start with saying that I don't understand why everyone else had such a bad experience, but mine was enjoyable. I went to a few dealerships in the area and decided to purchase a vehicle here. Luis was the salesman that I dealt with. I wasn't sure which vehicle I wanted and after looking at a few of them, Luis had me take one home for a couple days which helped me decide. During my overnight test drive, I popped a tire, put the donut on, and explained the situation on Monday. Luis and the manager were very understanding and I wasn't charged for the tire. They ordered one and replaced it for me two days later, had the vehicle gassed, washed, and ready to go! This was my first new vehicle purchase and they were very patient through all of my questions. I am very happy with my purchase from Michigan City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram!

Lying Salseman & WILL NEVER RETURN
My husband and I drove all the way from Wisconsin to Indiana to purchase a vehicle from Michigan City Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. Later down the road we got our vehicle appraised and come to find out when they ran the Carfax report, there was an accident reported as well as potential odometer rollback. Neither of which we were informed about even when we asked. We are extremely disappointed that we are a victim of this and that we were never properly informed about our vehicle that was sold to us by Blake Klimasara. Also, when I tried contacting him about it, I never got a response. So incredibly rude. We will never return to this dealership and will never recommend anyone to them. Stay away!

Michigan City Chrysler only uses Autocheck for all of our vehicle history reports. We do not sell frame damage cars or true mileage unknown vehicles. We inspect all of out pre owned vehicles. Do you know how to return a phone call?
The answer to that question is NO! My beef is more with the service department. I called and left a message on their overnight line. When I did not receive a call back in a timely manner, I called them. I was told that the service manager handles the scheduling and he was on the phone and would return my call as soon as he got off the phone. That was 9:30 am on a Wednesday. It is Thursday morning and they finally decide to return my call. When I had not gotten a call back in a timely fashion, I called other dealerships on my route and found one who could accommodate me. Perhaps they should remember that they may be the only Dodge dealer in Mich City, but there are plenty more dealerships in the area who will be more than glad to step up and fill the gap they leave when it comes to SERVICE. I do not feel they know the meaning of the word!

We are now under new management since August 2015. Our Customer Service Rating for Chrysler is now 100% for the last several months. All previous Managers have been replaced
Bold face lied to
We drove from our home in Martinsville to Michigan City to buy a 2007 Charger R/T with the Road and Track package we had been told it was awesome and in great shape with no issues. When we got there and looked it over we had suspicion it had been wrecked but we were shown a car fax type report with no wrecks and were assured it had never been wrecked. It was shown as certified pre-owned and were told they can't get that rating if it had been wrecked. So we bought it and got it home and started having issues within 3 months. Our local dealer did some repairs under the 3 month warranty it had and we were closer to happy then as usual more issues start arising after the 3 month warranty ran out (which by the way is actually only two months as you can't use it the first month or the conditions will be deemed as pre-existing) anyway fast forward to December of last year when it was totaled it and all of our suspicions were confirmed, this car had been heavily wrecked, the whole front end was aftermarket parts and the whole passenger side was bondo.
