I have been buying vehicles from Bob Tomes for at least

I have been buying vehicles from Bob Tomes for at least 18 years. Yesterday's experience was by far the worst I've had. Was shown and test drove a vehicle that turned out to not be the one I was shown the car fax report on. They tried to add over 4k in fees. It took over 4 hours even after completing the credit app online and everything else to even get to the finance office. Driving the vehicle home, the tire pressure sensor went out and the plastic protective chassis cover came off while driving down the highway. Took it right back up there the next morning. Ben in the service office was irritated and less than thrilled to have to fix my car. Do better Bob and Brandon.

Working with the Tomes Group was a great experience

Working with the Tomes Group was a great experience through the sales cycle. Sales to Finance Dept. Lance, Blake, Marco, Daniel, Estevan were all attentive, knowledgeable, and engaged with my sale. Great experience! The only disappointment was the Truck interior detail was subpar. It was still dirty when I picked it up.

The best customer service and deals around!

The best customer service and deals around! Bought my first car there 10 years ago and although my 2014 Edge was still going strong I needed to trade it in. I’m praying this car is the same!

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! The people are nice but NEVER trust their used car inspections or service department. If you find a great deal make sure you take the vehicle to a reputable mechanic before buying to check any issues as they don't fully inspect used vehicles before they sell them. Issues crop up less than 2 months from sale that they won't deal with unless you get some overpriced service contract even if vehicle is under factory warranty. Also, on new vehicles the service department pushes for regular maintenance items many thousands of miles before Ford shows in the manual on new cars so you can spend high dollars for items Ford doesn't recommend until 50K to 75K odometer readings. Lived and learned as try to support local but there are more reputable dealers in the area to visit that are honorable.

As soon as we saw your review, we checked in with our team and understand you had a conversation earlier today with our Pre-owned Director, Daniel Benitez. Daniel noted that the pre-owned Cadillac you purchased from us had AC issues shortly after taking delivery and you were charged by the Cadillac dealership to resolve them, despite having remaining factory warranty. We want to reiterate that we do inspect all our vehicles and can ensure you that there was not an issue present at that time. We would have liked to be alerted of the problem first and allowed an opportunity to look at it and resolve it and /or take it to Cadillac for you and get them to handle it under warranty. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do after the fact and wish the context was different. As much as I would like to say Bob Tomes's response was correct it ignores the facts. An AC system doesn't magically become overcharged with coolant and something that should have been seen in an inspection before trying to sell a vehicle! If it became lower possibly, sure, & why I took it to Cadillac as that would be covered under warranty. An overcharge is not covered, doesn't just happen, and I reached out to my sales rep before work was done with no response. As I can't be without a car due to work I had Cadillac bring it back to spec and hoped Bob Tomes would help with the costs but to no avail and took me going to dealership to discuss. Guess I am supposed to wait around for a response and let someone that doesn't check levels correctly try to fix it and be without a car or have a rental car for another day. No thanks.
