    Bought a transmission a little over a year and a half ago, it left me stranded. Went through Ford approved shop to have it installed first time around so went back to them to see about getting it warrantied through them. Stopped getting any info form them and put the blue was told they didn't want to do it, so I relayed this to mak haik and apparently 4 days later after this they decided to send the shop my transmission anyway. The tranny looks like crap, it's leaking fluid from the harness and the covered tailshaft (sealed with plastic cap) is covered in rust, a quick inspection revealed. So I'm supposed to be installing this so called new tranny in my truck either on my own or at my own cost while the approved shop that decided they wanted no part in it collects a check, as I have a parts and labor warranty through Ford. I took the transmission to them after receiving it to try and get some info on why it was dropped off, when it was dropped off, and whether they would exchange it for another one. I've been getting the runaround for going on two weeks, I've spoken to every manager in the place and have been talked to and treated like a peace of crap. The most information I've been told was yeah it's one of ours and well warranty it if it has a problem, yet it sits in the case from them leaking fluid and can't exchange it for some odd reason. In case it wandering there transmissions come full of fluid and ready to install, anyways not sure who the guy was that told me that but sure wasn't the parts manager. I did however personally speak to the distributor that mak haik got the tranny from and was shown the date it was sent to Ford and after having a Ford employee tell me it sat on there floor for over 2 weeks before being sent to the shop that didn't want anything to do with it, the dates don't match up, not even close, a week exactly if you believe they held it at all. A quick rundown 12/20/2016 Ford ordered and received the transmission, 12/23/2016 I was informed by the shop whom was supposed to do the warranty they didn't want to do it, I informed Ford and told them I was trying to find another shop to do it that they approved of, 12/27/2016 the transmission apparently arrived at shop that didn't want anything to do with it. I find the dates and the treatment a little off, a lot off, come to find out the owner of said approved shop used to work for mak haik for nearly 20 years before going out on his own, I believe that there's a lot of people involved in trying to get over on me. I did eventually speak to the general manager of mak haik after informing woman at the front desk I would be waiting outside in my loaner car till he decided to "come back from lunch", cause calling was getting me nowhere, leaving messages got me nowhere, attempting to speak to the assistant manager and manager got absolutely nowhere, was told by assistant to wait outside since I didn't allow her to talk over me and try to play dumb about what was going on, and the manager just wasn't trying to here anything, all the attitude and disrespect started after mentioning the name of the shop and shop owner that there oh-so familiar with. Anyway general manager informed me that it was between me and the shop where there good friend was since I allowed him authorization to do the work instead of taking the vehicle to them for the warranty, I informed him that his good friend didn't nor did he ever have possession of the vehicle throughout any of this, and not only was no work or signed giving them authorization but I informed them that the shop backed out and I was looking for another to do the work that they approved of before they ever sent it on its way. I was told I'd be receiving a call back the next day cause a meeting was to be in order about this situation and still to this day i wait for the call or some kind of information as to what's going on. Either way I have possession of the so called new tranny and the old one that's to be returned, idk

    Ronny Ghiselli (salesperson) was great to work with. Ronny and the Mac Heik team made the car buying process as easy and painless as it could possibly be. They were refreshing to work with after our prior attempts at other dealers. We bought the car over the phone and only saw pictures of it, but the dealer and Ronny delivered and we've enjoyed the car every day since.
