Blatant bait & switch dishonesty. Ourisman VW advertised a car, and when I called they told me the price was $900 higher. The salesman, Brian, says "Yes we fluctuate our pricing quite a bit to keep up with the market." AKA, I saw the car at one price, called about it, and refused to honor their own ad. When I told Brian I was ready to buy and asked if they'll honor the listed price they posted when I found the car, he flat out refused. No explanation, no apology...nothing. A day later I was contacted by Richard Hieronimus asking I had any more questions. I told him about the issue with advertised price, and he told me I should "come in and explore what we have available." No explanation, no apology...nothing. Then he told me I don't get the advertised price because "you waited too long." They could have sold the car at their advertised price but making a buck took precedence. This is an incredibly dishonest and very disappointing way of doing business and the definition of fraudulent business practices. If they're willing to bait & switch on the price, what else will they hide to make a sale? Also watch out for shipping costs if you're buying from out of state. Ourisman VW charges almost twice as much as other dealers from the region. Stay away. They value money more than honesty.
