Not happy with Cadillac.
Not happy with Cadillac. Known problem with headlights at time of manufacture. Cadillac will replace at my expense with no discounts for their defects.

We hope everyone here at the Dealership was polite and helpful enough for you to update your score here, which reflects your local store and not the manufacturer who makes those decisions.
We understand your frustration, especially since your car has the upgraded headlights that have a higher cost to replace. I want to make sure you were told Cadillac has offered to cover a portion of the cost, which is more than many companies would do on a 14 year old vehicle. If you were not made aware, please contact your service advisor for more details. Let us know if there's any further assistance we can provide.
Notwithstanding the "age" of my vehicle, Cadillac has dealt with the "defective" headlight issue for many years. It was an easy fix while in the warranty period but they chose no action. My problem with the dealership is cost to replace....$1,500+ for one and $3,000+ for both. They only have to take the front bumper off one time. No reduced cost to do both headlights at the same time. Everyone was "polite and helpful" at the dealership explaining the costs of replacing defective parts.
First time
First time anyone has told me Cadillac would pay anything. When the part comes in I will inquire to the service advisor how much Cadillac will pay and why was I not told this earlier.

Entire Customer Service staff was friendly, communicative, and answered all my questions. There were several unexpected repairs needed for my 2012 Cadillac SRX, and they explained the need for them thoroughly. They also helped me get two rebates on my new set of tires, once of which I did not know about. I have a sense of safety and pride while driving now. Thanks to all of you!

Good service, but concerned that it cost $200 to not find
Good service, but concerned that it cost $200 to not find a coolant leak in the a/c. Recharge the system with coolant and dye. Seems like a better resolution could have been found.
