If you're looking to buy a new car, but do not want to be pressured by a pushy sales man go see Dan Holuba at Mitchell Subaru. He was very patient and helpful throughout the process. He is great at helping customers find the car that's best for their needs and making sure they feel confident in their purchase. His kindness and understanding is what makes him stand out as a sales associate. He goes out of his way to make sure that his customers are happy with their purchases and goes over all the details of the car so that the customer understands the car's full capabilities. I give him 5 stars in all categories.

Excellent and reliable service
I've owned a lot of cars and dealt with numerous dealers over the years. Mitchell Subaru stands out from my experience as the best. They have always provided excellent service for my Outback, which after nine years still drives like it is new. Mitchell Subaru is the main reason why I prefer to keep the car, rather than to trade it for another brand.

Purchasing and servicing a car at Mitchell Subaru
I have owned Subarus for the past twelve years but last year I needed to find another one and I happened upon Mitchel Subaru in the process of looking for another car. I have been very impressed with the people who work at Mitchell Subaru and the way they treat their customers. From my first call to research buying a pre-owned vehicle to my recent service visit, I have encountered knowledgeable, personable and flexible people who do their best to find out how they can help me accomplish my goals. As a result, I was able to find a car to suit my needs, have it financed in a way that met my budget, ask the questions I needed to ask to learn about the new features on the car, and been given great advice on how to plan for the future repairs/ maintenance I will need to have done. The service protocol at this dealership is thorough and allows me to track the details of the various systems on the car in ways that help me plan for future repairs to the car without having them come up as emergencies or surprises. The explanations given for each item on the service record are understandable and presented carefully. I am grateful for the opportunity this affords me to budget and plan.

Great service, clean facilities, helpful folks.
I brought the car in for a routine oil change and it was discovered that my head gasket needed to be replaced. It was clear that this was a legitimate need and I am glad that Mitchel spotted it and brought it to my attention. This car was a 2005 Legacy Wagon with about 110,000 miles. The car was purchased at and has always been serviced by Mitchell. Vinny, the Service Manger that process my service requests has always been helpful and has never recommended any thing that didn't need to be done. In fact, he has often told me when things didn't need to be done -- at least not yet.

Awesome Service
Went into Mitchell Subaru looking for either a new or used car after having my other vehicle for less than a year. At the prior dealership (Hoffman Honda, BOOOOO), I received a less than a positive experience, so I didn't know what to expect walking into Subaru. I had previously bought a car from Mitchell Subaru (2005, Subaru Legacy GT) and I NEVER should have left Subaru. We all make mistakes, right? I worked with Greg Wheeler at Mitchell who was more than professional and courteous. He asked me where I would like my mothly payments to be, and came in right at the number I was looking for, in fact on the lower end. At the other dealer, they were no where close, well above my higher end. Both cars priced in the same range. I respect both Greg and Mitchell for not giving me the run around and wasting my time. I appreciate the service I received at Mitchell and love being back behind the wheel of another Subaru. There is no doubt when I am ready for my next car, I will be going to Mitchell Subaru first. Thanks, Greg! Greg also knows the best pizza places in the Farmington Valley and even introduced me to a place I didnt know had just moved in! Delicious.

I have to say that our car buying experience at Mitchell Subaru was the best we have ever had. We were entirely comfortable with the deal we got and the people with whom we dealt. You cannot help but feel you are being treated honestly and with respect. Definitely not the stereotypical / old school dealership. This dealer will be my first stop in any future car purchase. NEW CAR BUYING
WHEN I WENT TO MITCHELL SUBARU, I FULLY EXPECTED THEM TO BE LIKE ALL THE OTHER CAR DEALERS OUT THERE. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, I WAS GREETED BY RHONDA (THE GREETER @ FRONT DESK) WITH A SMILE AND SHE ASKED HOW SHE COULD HELP ME? I TOLD HER I HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH RICH O'LOUGHLIN (SALESMAN). I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH RICH FOR OVER TWO YEARS, WHEN I DECIDED THAT I WAS GOING TO BUY A FORESTER. I HAD FIRST MET RICH AT CENTER SUBARU IN TORRINGTON AND FOLLOWED HIM TO MITCHELL A COUPLE OF YEARS BACK. MY BUYING EXPERIENCE WAS VERY RELAXING AND PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST BUYING EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE. RICH HAD SET UP THE CAR THAT I WAS INTERESTED IN AND WAS READY FOR ME TO DO AN EXTENDED TEST DRIVE WITH A NEW 2016 FORESTERING 2.5i TOURING. WE GET INTO THE CAR A GO. WHILE I WAS DRIVING , RICH WAS EXPLANNING ABOUT THE CAR. AFTER WE CLOCKED ON ABOUT 50 MILES, WE GOT BACK TO THE SHOWROOM. THIS IS WHERE MY STOMACH ALWAYS GETS INTO A KNOT. IT TURNS OUT THAT I DID NOT GET THE KNOT THAT I WAS EXPECTING, BUT RATHER, RICH WAS VERY RELAXED WHICH IN TURN MADE ME RELAXED. WE SAT DOWN AND STARTED TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH I LIKED THE CAR AND WE TALKED ABOUT WHAT THE NUMBERS LOOKED LIKE. AFTER A FEW NEGOTIATIONS, I WAS THE LUCKY MAN OF A BRAND NEW CAR. WE FINALIZED OUR DEAL AND THEN I MET WITH THE MONEY MAN, SPIRO MAVREDAKIS ABOUT WHEN I WANTED TO TAKE DELIVERY. I DECIDED TO PICK UP THE CAR ON FRIDAY, 8/21/2015. MY BUYING EXPERIENCE WAS NOTHING LIKE I'VE HAD IN THE PAST WITH CAR DEALERS. I FEEL LIKE I WAS TREATED WITH RESPECT AND WAS NOT PRESSURED INTO BUYING THIS CAR. I'M PLANNING ON HAVING MY NEW CAR SERVICED AT MITCHELL TOO, AND IF THE SERVICE DEPT. IS ANYTHING LIKE THE SALES DEPT., I EXPECT TO BE A MITCHELL CUSTOMER FOR A LONG, LONG TIME. I CAN'T IMAGINE THAT THE SERVICE DEPT. WOULD BE ANYTHING LESS THAN SALES. I'M THANKFUL THAT I MET RICH A FEW YEARS BACK AND THAT I WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE A CAR FROM HIM TOO. Ecellent service and friendly people
I bought my Subaru from Mitchell and was a great experience but all so have my car serviced there and the buying part was painless and easy, Very helpful Sales Staff, but the service department has been so helpful in servicing my car but also answering any questions I might have about my car. I give Mitchell Subaru and their service department high ratings.
