Bait and Switch

They don't have any of the vehicles that they have online as available; don't waste your time. Came in for a RAV4 Prime (new) and they kept trying to swap me into a non-plugin used RAV4 or a Hybrid Highlander.

Service dept is incompetent!

Service dept is incompetent! I usually go to a Toyota dealer in Virgina to get my car serviced, but I live right next to this one in Laurel so decided to give it a try. Service advisor Kat Williams was nice, but the rest of the experience was horrible. They overcharge here without a doubt. Brought my car in for an oil change & a few other small services, they had my car from 7am until almost 6pm. My check engine light came on 15 minutes after leaving the service department (already closed) & that light has never been on before. Brought it back first thing the next morning & they said it had to be a coincidence because the code that came back had nothing to do with the work that was performed. After telling me this, it took almost TWO HOURS to give me my car back although they weren't performing any work on it. They cleared the code & the check engine light came right back on as I left the lot. Took it to the Virginia Toyota dealer a couple days later & they confirmed that the light came on because Sheehy didn't tighten a hose. They tightened it, cleared it, & the light never returned. All of the services I declined at Sheehy, I got at the other dealer & it was wayyyyy cheaper PLUS I got a free loaner. Sheehy wanted $200 in labor just to change my headlight bulbs (I provided my own bulbs) whereas the other dealer only charged me $20 in labor. All in all, I compared the prices of the services I declined at Sheehy & those same services I got done a couple days later at the Virginia dealer & I saved over $800.... I'll never return to this dealership. The technicians here must've came from CarMax across the street cause they're absolutely horrible

Horrible service, no one communicates correctly.

Horrible service, no one communicates correctly. If they make a mistake, YOU have to pay out of pocket for that mistake. Do not buy a car here! Save yourself the problems.

Sad for the bait and switch

We chose Sheehy as Todd had told us via email that they could match MSRP for a Corolla Hatchback. We didn't need appraisal services at this time. When it came time to discuss the final price and add-ons - including some VIP service and spray- we reminded them that we were given a quote for the car and to please go ahead and remove the additional charges. The manager Bruno came over and said other people were waiting for it and willing to just pay that. We never saw these people of course. Unfortunately the positive reviews promised a no haggle experience. He continued to try to haggle with us. Clearly we're not the only customers who appreciate a no haggle experience and we didn't receive it. We shared that Bruno's behavior felt stressful and finally had to remove ourselves from the situation quickly. Thankful to Brittany for all of the help in seeing the car. She was very transparent, explained the market well, and helped us know that the Corolla will be a good choice where ever we buy from. She gave her card and made it clear that we're still welcome here. Any reviews posted on Google Maps before ~January 2021 are for Carmax Toyota at this location which Sheehy bought (I bought cars from that location in November 2019 and way back in 2007)

Never buy from here

Where do I begin… I purchased a 2019 Chevy Tahoe from this location on June 26, 2022. As I was driving on July 1, 2022, I got the reduce engine power mode and check engine light came on. I called Sheehy Toyota and they told me to bring it there. I took the car there and left it there. They did not tell me where my car was I had to call every Chevy dealer in my area to find out where my car was. I did not receive my vehicle back until July 20, 2022. The same error occurred on Aug 1, 2022. I took it back to Toyota and told them this occurred again. I talked to the director of used car sales Sterling Cooper about this issue and he was unaware of the Chevy shop they took my vehicle to the first time, I told him where it went and he said to me no they did not send it there. I had to prove they sent it there by showing them the repair order from the other Chevy dealership. He said I will send it to another one in the area for them to get it fixed. I contacted the Chevy dealership and they told me the ECM had to be replaced. I receive my car back on Aug 6. The same issue occurred again on Aug 15. I proceeded to take it back to Sheehy and told them obviously something wrong with the vehicle and let’s discuss getting me out this vehicle. Sterling proceeded to tell me that he has another vehicle they can work with me with but it will cause my payment to go up because the other vehicle was 10k more than what I paid for mine. Then he proceeded to tell me that he could take the vehicle as a trade in but he will not give me what the payoff is so I’m looking at anywhere between 7-10k of negative equity into another car. I proceed to tell him to send my vehicle back to the Chevy dealership to get fixed because obviously you are not going to help a customer who is an Iraqi was very and Afghanistan war vet as well. So they sent me vehicle back to the Chevy dealership to get fixed yet again. I received my vehicle back on Aug 30, and the same issue occurred on the evening of September 1st. I contacted Mr. Cooper again and told him this occurred again and he proceeded to tell me he would be in the following morning. He has never contacted me to assist with this situation. I contacted the GM as well and no response. Well I just got my vehicle back again on Sept 16th and it has happened again. I purchased this vehicle from them and they have done nothing outside of providing loaner vehicles and paying for the multiple repairs. Instead of working with me to help me get out of this defective vehicle they did nothing. In fact Mr. Cooper’s next in charge Jordan Jenkins told me to find another vehicle in their inventory as an possible replacement. Why should me the customer search their inventory? I asked to speak to the GM to discuss options and talked to their service manager he told me he will let him know and have him contact me which had never happened. They have done nothing to help me about a bad vehicle they sold me. I would NEVER a recommend this place to anyone! I wish I could give them negative stars. This has been an horrible nightmare that I feel now I have and expensive paperweight.

My wife’s phone was still connected to the car and I was

My wife’s phone was still connected to the car and I was on the call and the Employees including yusuf (don’t know the other ones) were talking about how my wife was a lesbian and how they were also lesbian and that my wife had a nice xxx and nice lips, I said excuse me and they got quiet. Disrespectful, disgusting, and rude is what this dealership is

What we have here is a failure to communicate

Their service department needs to learn to communicate. We looked at your car, we got your parts today, your car should be ready tomorrow, that would be an improvement. At least as far as MY service rep goes, all you can do is wait for a call your car is done, it might be tomorrow, it might be next week, it'll be done when it's done.

Sheehy delete your ads if you don't have the car!

They do not have the cars they advertise here. When you ask about it they just say the need to update it. Most likely they are keeping these ads up so that people come into the dealership. They are very unethical.
