Everything wrong with car dealers

Had an add posted for a vehicle online. I texted to ensure it was on the lot. They assured me it was, then proceeded to call me 4 different times in a 24 hour period, each time I made it clear to stop calling. I decided to drive the 35 minutes to go see the vehicle. It was in Florida. Never there. Me of course very angry was ready to explode, they decide to still and try to sell a car to me. Awful ethics that don't value people and their time.

2 service visits, 2 strikeouts

C7 Corvette was scheduled for 2nd oil change & recall #16007 fix. I requested visual check of brake fluid & transmission fluid plus clean inside windshield (I'm partially disabled & cannot do this myself). Car was returned with 1) changed (wrong) speedo display 2) all memory settings (seats, outside mirrors, steering wheel) wiped out, 3) no communication about fluid levels, 4) inside windshield untouched. Oil change & recall fix were apparently done OK, but this whole experience was almost an exact duplicate of what happened in 2015 when car was in for 1st oil change; all settings & display were changed, etc. Ridiculous. Why would I want to return for future service? No way.

Misty Shelly - super salesman

Overall the experience was pretty good . Misty Shelly is a wonderful salesperson to work with. She seems very honest and straightforward and doesn't try to pressure you. If me or my family bought another car there, we would only work with her! The finance person was a young former marine and he was great to work with as well, fast and efficient! Really knew what he was doing. My only complaint was with the appraisal of my trade-in. The offer was way to low and then when I looked at the appraisal sheet, they had used the wrong model and a lower package when it was a higher end model and package. They came up on the trade-in value but still not where it should have been. Of course, that is my problem for accepting the offer. All in all, I would use them again and Misty Shelly is a 5 star sales person!!

Yet another great experience

I bought a new Cruze Hatchback this past weekend at Hendricks. This is the 3rd car in just over two years my husband and I have purchased there. We had a different salesperson for all three purchases. And I will say that all three were very helpful and knowledgeable. I am a Chevy girl and I know where I'll be buying all my new cars in the future - HENDRICK CHEVROLET SHAWNEE MISSION

Hendrick Chevrolet in SM Kansas is outstanding!

I always have a terrific Service Department experience at Hendrick Chevrolet/Shawnee Mission, KS. I work with Alex Fults in Service. Alex always does a terrific job, takes good care of me AND my Corvette.

I was in for a big surprise

I had a 'check engine' light on and was prepared for a huge repair bill. I had called On Star and they 'diagnosed' it as something that could be a big deal. Turns out the truck was a couple quarts low on oil (170,000 miles) The honesty and integrity of Scott and his techs is outstanding. I know I will always be treated fairly. I guess I just need to start checking the oil more frequently.

Great Service!

Kathy took care of my needs. She worked with her people to determine their database was incorrect insofar as which recalls applied to my car. She ensured the parts were available, made my appointment and met me when I drove in. She set up the arrangements to handle the recalls and she even arranged for diagnostic work to be done on the intermittent 'Stuck in Park' issue that plagues 1,000's of Corvettes due to a faulty 'Shifter assembly' design. As a resolution to the issue with my car, she suggested I spend $700 to repair it. I respectfully declined her offer and plan to wait until GM admits a recall is warranted to fix this safety concern that so many of us Corvette owners live with. The recall work was completed within the schedule Kathy estimated.
