Cadillac announced today that it will add additional numbers to the trunk
lids of most of cars and SUVs beginning in the 2020 model year.
Approximately 200 model-year 2019 Cadillac XTS sedans are being recalled
to secure a belt buckle assembly.
In a pivotal announcement, GM announced plans for proactive steps to cut
workforce, shift investment toward trucks and SUVs, and put a cork in the
pipeline for five plants starting in 2019.
Approximately 210,600 model-year 2018-19 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and
GMC vehicles are being recalled for rear brake caliper pistons.
The ATS, CTS and XTS may be consolidated to a single vehicle.
