Detroit Bureau Chief

Aaron Bragman

Detroit Bureau Chief Aaron Bragman has had over 25 years of experience in the auto industry as a journalist, analyst, purchasing agent and program manager. Bragman grew up around his father’s classic Triumph sports cars (which were all sold and gone when he turned 16, much to his frustration) and comes from a Detroit family where cars put food on tables as much as smiles on faces. Today, he’s a member of the Automotive Press Association and the Midwest Automotive Media Association. His pronouns are he/him, but his adjectives are fat/sassy.

Dodge has come up with another new dragster special edition for the 2020 Challenger SRT called the Super Stock.
Dodge bills the new Super Stock as the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car — but isn’t that the 2018 Demon’s title?
The updates to the 2021 Bentley Bentayga are subtle but thorough, bringing the styling and amenities into a closer vibe with the rest of the lineup.
It’s a mix of older style and newer technology for the 2021 F-150, with looks that don’t really change that much and mostly carryover powertrains.
The 2021 F-150 doesn’t look all that different, but the addition of a hybrid model and some nifty new features should keep it on top.
The 2020 CLA250 is like expensive ladies’ footwear or haute couture fashion clothing — looking good means suffering a little discomfort.
The 2020 Corvette Stingray C8 is an astonishing bargain for a car that can get from 0-to-60 mph in about 3 seconds with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine.
Mid-size sedans are still waning in popularity, but VW is still pushing for its share of the shrinking pie with a freshened 2021 Arteon.
