2026 Ford Bronco

The 2026 Ford Bronco offers impressive off-road ability at an accessible price, but the cost of its capability is reduced efficiency compared to most similarly sized SUVs.

Ford is recalling more than 565,600 examples of its Bronco SUV over an issue with the engine compartment wiring harness that may lead to a fire.

Ford’s latest recall affects some 179,700 examples of its Ranger pickup truck and Bronco SUV and involves an issue with the front seats.

The Wildtrak returns to the Ford Bronco as a package, and there are also more roof-color options available and a keyless-entry keypad.

The 2026 Ford Bronco is available in numerous configurations: two doors or four, three engines, two transmissions and four suspensions. But nearly every version of the mid-size SUV can tow the same 3,500 pounds.

Other than a 60th Anniversary Package to commemorate the Ford Bronco’s birthday, the SUV is little changed for the new model year.

More than 229,600 examples of Ford’s Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs are being recalled over an issue with the instrument panel that may cause it to fail.

The Ford Bronco turns 60 in 2026, and the marque is celebrating with a 60th Anniversary Package in a choice of historic color combinations finished off by retro graphics and styling touches.
