2023 Ford Expedition

Ford is recalling more than 422,600 Ford and Lincoln vehicles over an issue with the windshield wipers that may cause them to fail.

Ford’s latest recall affects nearly 273,800 examples of its Expedition and luxury-brand Lincoln’s Navigator SUVs, and it involves an issue that may result in a loss of brake function.

Of 30 vehicles subject to the new test in the agency’s latest front crash evaluation, 22 rated good or acceptable.

The IIHS named the Jeep Wagoneer as a Top Safety Pick, but the Chevrolet Tahoe and Ford Expedition fell short.
