2011 Kia Sportage

As Hyundai recently did, Kia also has now announced an anti-theft hardware update. The upgrade is free to owners of affected vehicles at Kia dealerships nationwide.

Approximately 32,000 model-year 2011-12 Kia Sportage SUVs are being 
 recalled for their engine oil pans.

Hyundai and Kia are coming under fire for, well, fires. The automaker 
 recently recalled a slew of cars due to the risk of engine fire, and now the 
 Highway Loss Data Institute says the turbocharged engines in those cars 
 call for a closer look.

Approximately 618,000 model-year Kia sedans and SUVs are being recalled 
 for machining errors during the engine manufacturing process.
