Toyota is recalling more than a million Toyota and Lexus vehicles over an issue with the backup camera that could decrease driver visibility.
On the heels of a recall affecting a number of its electric vehicles, Toyota now is recalling approximately 591,000 vehicles over an issue with instrument panels.
The Lexus TX is little changed for 2026, with a new paint color joining the palette for non-F Sport trims and a panoramic moonroof now standard on the TX 550h+ plug-in hybrid.
Shopping for a three-row SUV means balancing priorities of seat quantity versus comfort. If the number of seats trump all, many three-row SUVs offer a second-row bench, but other models give up the second-row middle seat for captain’s chairs.
New as it is, the TX isn’t changed much for 2025, with tweaks to the multimedia system and a new TX 350 F Sport Handling trim level.
Between the Grand Highlander and TX, there are some 158,000 vehicles that will need to be
repaired. Production is expected to resume by the end of October.
Toyota is recalling some 145,000 examples of its Grand Highlander and Lexus TX SUVs for an issue involving the vehicles’ airbags.
These cars offer panoramic moonroofs or sunroofs either as standard or optional equipment for 2024.
