The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety is tightening its crash-test requirements for its coveted Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick+ awards, resulting in fewer winners for 2025.

Just a few model years out from an overhaul that saw its AMG performance variants undergo a tectonic shift, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan is little changed for 2025.

After its last round of testing for the year, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has awarded 19 vehicles Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ status.
