For model-year 2018, IIHS strengthened its Top Safety Pick Plus award 
 requirements - and just 15 vehicles qualify.

Approximately 9,400 model-year 2017-18 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class SUVs 
 and Mercedes-AMG GLC43 SUVs are being recalled.

Insufficient electrical grounding in certain Mercedes-Benz steering 
 components could cause the driver's airbag to inadvertently deploy.
