Great car for the Pacific Northwest

These cars are very popular in the Seattle area because the all wheel drive is fantastic for the rainy weather. The car is quiet and comfortable. I love it. Thinking about buying another one.

Pleasant to own.

I like the vehicle. I'm a skeptical person prone to finding flaws, and while this vehicle is not flawless, they are fewer than expected. CONS [ I am tall, the back hatch doesn't raise high enough to clear. The stereo turns on as soon as you start the car regardless of how you left it. The navigation system defaults to speaking, and you have to mute it each (if you don't want it).] PROS [The cruise control has a nice feature where it won't let you hit the car in front of you if you aren't paying attention. the front and back seats have butt warmers. It drives well. It doesn't have the take-off of a sports car, but it generally pretty good. Decent gas mileage. ] I like it quite a bit.

The 3.6 Touring is a disguised luxury vehicle ge

This vehicle is a gem. The ride is so much better than a Honda CRV, Toyota RAV 4, Nissan Rogue and more I tested. It is also quieter than those vehicles. The engine is amazingly smooth and powerful and you don't realize the transmission is a CVT. Also, the sight lines are much better than aforementioned and I don't always scrape the rear right wheel when making turns. The quality of materials is so impressive, for example, the rug pile is much better than no-pile rugs of the Honda and Toyota. And they still give you a CD player which many other brands don't. Bravo!. Became the Outback is a little longer and a little wider it is more comfortable and has larger luggage capacity. After owning it 10 months, gas mileage is about 20 MPG for strict city driving, 23 for mixed driving and for two long highway trips I averaged 30.9 and 30.4 MPG with the air conditioner on. That beats the window sticker by 3 -4 MPG. The only problem I have encountered is that the CD player wasn't working on delivery. But there was a service bulletin on it and they corrected it the next day in about 45 minutes. That's it, no other problems whatsoever. The Outback Touring with the 6 cylinder engine is about as close to luxury level you can get for about $8,000 to $10,000 less. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't test drive this vehicle before making a decision. I love this vehcile!

My dream car

I've always admired this vehicle and did a lot of research on the Outback. It's everything I expected and then some. Both me and my wife are extremely pleased with working with Mauricio Anual at CARR Subaru. Very Professional and Knowledgeable. A painless and non-confrontational experience.

Excellent ride and great quality

The Outback is a great car it has many safety features mine has the Eyesight system and adaptive cruise control. I get excellent mileage for a car this size and with the 18.5 gallon tank I easily can drive 500 miles on a road trip before needing a fill-up, I don't generally fill-up earlier since I need to stop and rest anyway. The internal comfort is great. The handling it excellent in any condition I have experienced including great traction and handling in the snow.

Power and Safety with lots of Tech

This 2018 Outback Touring model with 6 cylinder motor has the performance, efficiency, and comfort more that other SUV's in its class. The tech package integrates advanced cruise control meshed with a computer copilot that nudges you safely down the highway as well as in stop-and-go city traffic. The Eye-Sight feature is a must for less stressful trips. Partnering with technology is something to embrace and Subaru makes it easy.

safety features are outstanding.

the cost including the eyesight safety feature is very competitive. the ride is very comfortable. and being higher than a regular car provides a good view of the road. And, the cargo space is substantial for a small size SUV.

3rd Subaru - proven reliability!

My 3rd Subaru with a Ford Edge in between. You definitely get more bang for your buck. Almost too many safety features if that's possible. Nice ride for a car that's as big as an SUV, but not quite as high. Very roomy front and back. I have the Limited which as leather seats, moonroof, etc. Going for my first class on all the extras next week, but so far I think it's going to be another one of those cars you can keep 15 years. Hopefully they're as reliable as my past ones.
