2009 Acura MDX consumer reviews

Bought it with 199k and sold it with 247k. It’ll go 50k more, but I wanted something nicer, as I was very hard on it. Replaced timing belt and water pump at 200k, brakes and oil as needed. Had a power steering fluid leak the whole time but got really bad at 235k miles, so had that replaced. Had to replace ignition cylinder at 242k. Replaced the tie rods, but that’s expected at that age. Repairs were expensive and was expensive to drive since it suggested premium gas, but still an awesome car. My favorite thing about this car was that it could go anywhere. It had awd, but I drove it on dirt back roads in Colorado and Texas, and through trails of mud in Missouri all the time. Great camping vehicle, as I slept many nights in this car. Great vehicle, I would definitely recommend if you have the money for a luxury vehicle.

I had to get this car due to an emergency. Paid $3600 with 198k miles. After only doing minor repairs, oil changes and new tires the cost has been 1k and 210k miles strong. RELIABLE !!!!!

This car is very reliable and has a lot of power and very comfortable for a family of seven people. A true Luxury that stands out !

Reliable, comfortable, three row seats, plenty of power, nice winter driving, navigation. Front and rear AC, sunroof, leather. Will recomend for everyone who wants luxury car withiout any problem

This car is very powerful and has been great for my daily use. Its very comfortable and very clean. Everything works great. Has new struts, breaks pads, roters , timing belt , water pump, new pirelli tires.

I love this vehicle, though I wish it was 1,000 pounds lighter. Pluses: Styling still looks great, great performer in bad weather, luxurious appointments. Minuses: fuel efficiency (to be expected with a car this size, though), button happy center cluster, info screen not bright enough on a sunny day.

Great car. 2009 and previous owners drove it on average of 3500 miles per year. Was in garage most of the time and still has new car smell. Acura is very reliable, own a 2004 with 211,000 miles and we will have this 2009 for many years! Reliable is what I'm bout and that is what Acura delivers.

I bought this August of 2019, for a fair price. Needed something with more room and power. The tech inside is nothing to brag about and the Bluetooth DOES not work in the 2007-13 models the module has to be unplugged to save battery from draining. Gas isn't great but not terrible. Had to do a little work to it but hey it has 120k on it and seems to be running strong. Great buy if you can find under 10k. Good luck and happy findings.

Car has been great for the 3 years I’ve owned it. No major issues. It’s great in the snow and not bad on gas. It’s very comfortable on road trips and has all the features i need.

The MDX is a great car and very reliable. It handles well. The maintenance was a little expensive after 175,000 miles but overall a great value.
