I purchased the Traverse because I wanted an AWD with comfort and towing capability. Although it doesn't get near the gas mileage they put on the sticker, it's a very comfortable ride, quiet and a fair MPG which is averaging 21 MGP at this time. I traded in a crossover which I loved, but it wasn't as good with traction as it should have been. This AWD Traverse hasn't been stopped by the many feet of snow we had this season. Haven't towed yet, but like the capablity as I'm sure I will in the near future. Someone looking for a comfortable ride, fair mileage and smart looking crossover - this is the car. I'll keep this car longer than my usual 4 years.

Ups:Love the silent, smooth ride both city and highway. INCREDIBLE handling and response for the vehicle size. Beautiful, stylish exterior design. Lots of space and storage compartments. Nicest visual impact on any family car we've had. Goodbye to minivans forever. The Onstar system with integrated hands free phone is really cool (but costs extra after 6 months trial). Really gives over 25mpg on highway. Downs: Purchased the LS base trim, and had to accept not so nice interior upholstery, steering wheel not wrapped in leather (wished it had at least a more ergonomic grip). The mechanism to move second row seats to access back row is less than nice and smooth. City mpg is 13 to 14, not so good, but understandable for the car size. Overall, good value for the money. I'm happy with the purchase as I was able to negotiate a nice deal. The savings are worth the things I gave up on luxury in interior details.

Versatile, Powerful, and Reliable for 130k+ Miles!

I purchased a one-owner pre-owned 2011 Chevrolet Traverse LTZ that had 128k miles on it. I had been driving a mid-size sedan and realized I needed more seating and cargo room for family, friends, and any unexpected trips. I must say, I had been blown away since the day I test-drove the Traverse! It is an absolutely AMAZING full-size crossover! The soft heated and cooled leather seating with memory, power-folding mirrors, tri-zone auto-climate control, remote start, rear camera with sensors, impressive rear-entertainment system with 10-speaker Bose surround audio, and dual sunroofs are only a small portion of the long list of features included in this vehicle! The complimentary OnStar 3-year Basic plan is very beneficial in locking/unlocking, starting, and locating my Traverse via smart phone! I can even check the status of my vehicle's health and receive monthly emails updating me on such conditions. Whether it's passing other vehicles or moving from a stand still, the 3.6L V6 has plenty of get up and go, and then some! I have experienced zero issues, and I am completely satisfied with my choice to upgrade to the Traverse! Every day, I feel more and more confident driving this vehicle to my various destinations, no matter the conditions. This SUV even drove smoothly and quickly through the aftermath of numerous mudslides that had resulted from recent record-breaking storms... without any bit of struggle or hesitation! It is also equipped with a factory towing package that I am more than willing to utilize on any given day. Although it has many characteristics and capabilities of a larger family SUV, the Traverse remains smooth on and off-road... even with 20" alloys. On pavement, it handles like a much smaller vehicle, which is a big plus in So-Cal. I also feel very comfortable using it to teach younger family members and friends to drive, as it is a trustworthy Chevy! Six months later and the Traverse now has 136k miles and continues to run clean and peppy like a champ. There's absolutely no doubt this vehicle will fly past 200k miles! Despite being a few years old, the Traverse LTZ still turns many heads. Friends and family members who have driven or ridden in my Traverse repeatedly mention they wish it was theirs. I highly recommend the Traverse to all families/individuals who are looking for a tough, comfortable, spacious, safe, and reliable SUV that uses far less fuel than a V8, without sacrificing much of a V8's capability!

Did not want to do a minivan, so looked at the Traverse. I am totally pleased. Had to get used to blind spots, coming from a Camry. I love this car. Ride is good, fuel not bad at all for a large vehicle. Some tire noises on highway. Not real quiet, but I have not experienced anything that would stop me from getting another. I would get remote door lift and sunroof. Now I can take all my grands to the park, and still be "cool"

Very good alternative to minivan. Stylish, plenty of room, smooth ride and engine power. The front, middle and 3rd row seats provide plenty of leg and head room The dash and console layout are a little dated but very functional. Love the Onstar system that came with 3 months free and is a montly charge after that in which we plan to keep. Overall very please with the car.

Have only had the car four weeks. Like the seating configuration. Wouldn't recommend the dealer Five Star Chev. in Florence SC due to once they have the deal that's it. They do not honor any of there verbal commitments. For example, bought the vehicle 108 miles one way from home, late evening Saturday to complete deal. Poring rain. Not detailed and told to bring back on Monday and they would detail. Husband drove 216 miles round trip, my 14 yr old could have done better. Still vacuuming cheerios out of seat slides. Also don't know how some of the systems work ie to add CDs because didn't get owner's manual as promised. Told we bought the vehicle used so they aren't required to provide it.
