Mine is an XLT Version.

Mine is an XLT Version. 5.4 V8. Replaced the throttle body at 112 000 miles. Alternator at 150000 miles Complete paint job at 225000. It's a very reliable vehicle. I do regular maintenance at Ford dealership at 5000 miles. I've been pulling a bass boat for 15 years with no problems with transmission or electrical. It's been a great people hauler for routine 1000 mile vacations. JD

Today the odometer reads 332,187.

Today the odometer reads 332,187. It was Mom's and every 3500 miles she had oil changed by Ford religiously . Made me a believer in Ford!

short lived luxury till without warning its not

me and the wife had the limited model and were extremely happy with everythiing it offered and couldnt complain about the way it performed . it got to speed quick, endless room for taking trips and the added features were awesome .the inly problem was how many miles it went reliably . at 172201 miles then having the the v8 triton motor go and completely destroy its self by snapping the cam phaser off like a toothpick and throwing the timing chain around and seizing up everything with the many fragments was pretty disappointing considering how much it cost to buy the vehicle and then the price to buy a whole new engine plus the cost for labor was ridiculous. i mean if a 42000 dollar suv can only last 172000 miles dies but a honda accord that was 9 years older could make it double that on miles and continues to run despite it being a salvaged used 25 year old bucket i paid 1 grand for i think that for needs to rethink the pricing for their vehicles . but despite the low liifespan of the high priced motor i do love the vehicle and if you have the money to buy one and not care about the time between mechanic visits i really do recommend them theyre amazing vehicles til without any signs or warnings theyre not

Great car

I've owned this Expedition for almost fifteen years and it's still in excellent condition. It has been highly reliable and the only issue I've had has been an alternator replacement. Drives well, cleans up well, and has super road visibility.

It was ok but fuel hog

I like it very roomy can fit full size bed but gas mileage was horrible. Favorite was the push button fold down 3rd row seat

Very reliable vehicle

Bought the car brand new. Great reliable vehicle. Have 194,000 miles and runs as good as the day I bought it. Only mechanical work ever required was a rebuilt transmission after 165,000 miles. Lousy gas mileage but I don't care.

So far it's been a great a SUV and it looks sharp:

Well the vehicle I purchased was a 2006 and only the navigation system was out of date and it doesn't sync with my phone. It would be nice if it had daytime running lights but it does have automatic headlights.
