Don?t buy

This vehicle has not held up very well as far as water leaks and rusting. I live in the Mideast with nothing extreme about the weather. I have had several issues with leaking. Water leaks in thru the back roof, rear lift gate area. The drivers side door fills with water when it rains and the drivers door is rusting. My vehicle had 45k miles and the drivers side door is RUSTING at the bottom. the dealership told me it wasn?t covered. So does that mean rusting at 4 yrs old is expected and acceptable???? Never buying another ford.

One of the best cars I have ever had

I never thought about owning a Ford before but for my needs at the time it was the best car decision I?ve made. After looking around the lot I knew I didn?t want anything I had to climb up in anymore but still have plenty of space and features I wanted. It had all the features I needed and space for lots of luggage as well without giving up seating area.

Love My Explorer!

I love the Sporty look of the exterior. Black moldind and black spoke rims really set it off. Interior has plenty of leg room, also 3rd row seating is a must when traveling with my grandkids. Also love the fold down seats when hauling my bargains from shopping adventures. My Explorer is everything I was looking for. Even has towing package . Plan on pulling boat to lake.

Hasn't left me on the side of the road yet

I love this Ford Explorer performance styling interior. A solid Bill Trinkle I feel that if I get in a wreck in this I will be the winner

Good looking an comfortable but no fun to drive

We had this vehicle for just over a year. We upgraded form and Escape as the kids no longer fit comfortably with their stuff. We decided to go with an Explorer as I liked the styling and we enjoyed the Escape's tech. After we test drove the Explorer it was noticeably slower and less zippy compared to the Escape. I attributed this to it's size as I had a 2012 Taurus with the same engine and the Taurus fell much quicker. I loved the interior size and third row of the Explorer. It fit all the kids, their friends, their junk and didn't look like a minivan. After a few weeks of driving it around town the performance really began to bother me. I would need to accelerate heavily to keep from being run over and passing was a joke. My wife would regularly smack my right arm when I would try to pass another vehicle because the shifting was harsh and the engine was so loud. Overall the size and creature comforts were awesome but the performance was a big turn off. Might be a better review if it we got the "sport" trim.

Great ride and always reliable!

I love the 4 wheel drive. I never feel like the car is slipping! It?s dependable and the color is beautiful! It stands out in a parking lot so it?s easy to find!
