I bought my 2014 Focus new.
I bought my 2014 Focus new. 2017 had a recall. Brought it in due to issues with transmission, clutch replaced. Second time 2019 with the same issue. Along with the radio console crapping out. It would crackle and pop scarring you to death with the unexpected noise. Then it was the hatch back panel coming loose from the rear seat. Then the windshield wiper reservoir leakage, no longer holding fluid. Now I need a transmission rebuild 2026. Costing more than the car is currently worth. I've never owned such a crappy car, oh and I only have 50,350K on the car. I was diligent with maintenance, but didn't matter. This car sucks!!!

I bought this car used.
I bought this car used. I had to replace the transmission clutch 3-4 times in 2-3 years. I had to pay for the first one even though it was on recall. Doesn’t make sense and then they replaced the module. Now seems like something is going wrong again. Cannot afford another car or pay for another clutch.

2014 Ford Focus.
2014 Ford Focus. Best car I have ever driven. Fun to drive and I look sexy driving it. Passed it on to my daughter, 177000 miles and still runs great.

2014 Focus SE Hatchback bought in 2016 with 7500 miles.
2014 Focus SE Hatchback bought in 2016 with 7500 miles. Its currently 2025 and 113k miles. The only repair issue was the TCM failure at 90k. I had to wait 3 weeks for the part to come in all the while unable to drive my only vehicle. Only other problem with this car is the heat shields have fallen loose and rattle. I have thought about replacing this car several times over the past 3 years. I've test driven many similar cars and haven't found any that drive much better. So I keep driving this car.

Bought the vehicle after Ford replaced the transmission
Bought the vehicle after Ford replaced the transmission due to the known transmission issue with these and it has worked like a dream. I cannot recommend this car enough. It has been reliable, dependable and easy to maintain.

don't every buy a ford especially this 2014 Ford Focus
don't every buy a ford especially this 2014 Ford Focus the transmissions were faulty and ford knew before they were sold and Ford motor company and there dealers conspired to see the cars anyways. I purchased the 2014 Ford Focus and have had transmission problems for years and now it has shut down completely and Ford will not take care of this and I only have 78000 miles it should not have any of these problems. if you see this cars run away fast they are nothing but crap

Worst car I ever had Ford focus hatchback 2014
I bought my car six years ago with 27,000 miles on it. I have 66,000 miles on it after 10 years of ownership. I have spent thousands of dollars on repairs for this car a new windshield wiper motor a new horn a new water pump transmission work twice, driving down the road one day the whole piece under the side door fell off. This is my first Ford and I’ll never own another one.
