What Is the 2021 Honda HR-V?

The Honda HR-V is a five-seat subcompact SUV that competes with the Chevrolet TraxJeep RenegadeMazda CX-3 and Nissan Kicks. It’s powered by a 141-horsepower, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that works with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front- and all-wheel-drive versions are available.

What’s New on the 2021 Honda HR-V?

The Sport trim level adds privacy glass, but there are no other significant changes.

What Features in the 2021 Honda HR-V Are Most Important?

Standard features include:

  • 17-inch alloy wheels
  • 5-inch multimedia screen
  • Bluetooth streaming audio
  • USB port
  • Cruise control
  • 60/40-split second-row Magic Seat

Available features include:

  • Power moonroof
  • 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity
  • Heated front seats
  • Leather-trimmed seats
  • Automatic climate control
  • Push-button start
  • Honda Sensing suite of active safety features

Should I Buy the 2021 Honda HR-V?

The HR-V’s roomy, versatile cabin and large cargo area are advantages over most subcompact SUVs, and its interior quality and estimated gas mileage — especially with front-wheel drive — are additional strengths. Modest acceleration is the HR-V’s biggest drawback.

This is a perfect car for me (80 yrs old, 5’1”) it is easy to get in and out, and I sit far enough from the steering wheel so I can drive with my arms in a much more comfortable position than in my 2009 Honda Civic I had before

  • Nice car for the money

I chose the HR-V because it was small enough to fit down my driveway but was still an suv. The car is great but it doesn't have the features of my RAV-4. However, the new car, in the Sport model, has the updated features I wanted including navigation/Apple Car Play/Android Auto. The add ons by the dealer were not worth it and were ridiculously expensive.

  • I love my hr-v and use it for work. It works well.

I have had my 2021 HR-V for a little over two years and not had one problem until recently. I was driving and had a SRS warning light come on. Found out it is in the passenger side frame. I purchased an extended warranty so I’m hoping that it is covered.I’m just wondering if this is a problem with other HR-Vs. Could you please check. Thanks

  • The biggest mistake of my life was purchasing a 20

All my life I never owned a new car until 2021 when I finally got to purchase one I got the 2021 Honda HRV right off the showroom floor. 3 months later it was in the shop for 3 days because it would not start. I got it back and It was never the same sense. I called the dealership many times and they tell me that they fix the problem but they didn't because I can't even charge my phone in the car. I never thought I would be so disgusted by owning a new car.

  • My Review about the 2021 Honda H-RV

We had Bought our 2021 Honda H-RV brand new and it has been a Great Vehicle over all, There are a couple few things that I would of liked a little differently, like for instance the power windows it has "auto" for the drivers side only, I personally would of liked it on both drivers and passangers side (But definitely not a big deal) and the compartment space's there Isn't Any other than the small glove box and a small one between the driver and passanger seat's" I personally like extra compartments " (but again not a big deal) And as far as anything that I would say that I do not like as for the car it's self is that when I roll down a window or open the sun roof there is some odd kind of Whistling noise "that drives my in sane" And it has been doing that every sense the day we bought it!!!🤪🤨🤔🥺🤯!! We have had our H-RV of course now for 2 years and the only Issues We have noticed was... In the past week there is two lights that came on in my information panel one say's "Emissions problem" and the other one says "Electric break system problem" and tells me to see my dealer.

  • Great auto

Perfect size for 70 year old woman. My only suggestion would be automatic back door hatch. Car drives great. Presently leasing thinking of purchase it when lease is up.

  • First new car and not a disappointment

This car looks sporty on the outside but is fairly spacious for a small SUV. It’s around the same interior size as the old CR-Vs which I drove for 10 years prior. My only complaint is the lack of cup holders for the driver and passenger. Otherwise it is a great medium car.

I’ve only had this car for a little over a week now and it did take some getting use to being it’s smaller than the CR-V but I do like it and it handles well.

  • I love my new used car

I absolutely love driving my car. It is such a smooth ride and the sound system isn’t bad either. I always have a nice drive while in it and it is very reliable when i need to step on the gas or need to brake.

  • Very nice car for the money

We were looking for a car to replace our Spark. Our daughter had recently purchased a Civic and is very happy with it. We chose the HR-V because it is roomier and more comfortable for us. Looks nice and rides nice and fills all of our needs
