I leased my Tucson new in 2019, and before it was even one year old it wouldn't start when I was leaving for work. I called a tow truck driver who jump started it, and I managed to drive it to my Hyundai dealer, who kept me waiting almost the entire day while they looked for the source of the problem. They could not find anything wrong. I was otherwise fairly happy with the car, but planned to tun in the lease because the car is seriously underpowered, and the gas milage is terrible. I was consistently getting about 25 MPG, despite mostly highway driving, and not always speeding, etc. Flash-forward to 2021, and once COVID happened, new car prices skyrocketed, so I ended up buying my Tuscon when the lease ended. So this car is not even three years old and already the paint is chipping off, there's a weird intermittent banging noise when the car changes gear, and guess what - about 40% of the time the car won't start. I took it to a mechanic who could not find the problem. Very frustrating. I feel like I cannot trust this car. Clearly the reliability is not there. As soon as financially feasible, I am going back to Honda. Lesson learned, no more Hyundais for me.

Recently purchased a used/leased 2019 Tucson and wanted a stable safe vehicle. For a single person this compact SUV is great. comfortable ride, enough cargo space for groceries. As a metro driver the gas mileage is on par with other vehicles. test drove a crossover and was not happy with the bumpy ride nor the cargo area. Checked having fun with this car, but it is really an about town for errands car.

High oil usage. Using 1 quart of oil weekly and now using 2 quarts weekly. Took it back to dealership but was told they couldn’t find anything wrong with it.

I'm very happy with my Tucson. Used car inventory is low. I test drove one on a local lot and liked the weight and handling of the car but it didn't have the equipment I was looking for. I went to Carvana and searched the same model 2019 Tucson, since that is what I had driven. I detailed every bell and whistle I wanted and there was my car and in the color I preferred. 10 minutes on the computer and the car was delivered in 3 days. Total time to receive the vehicle was 10 minutes ! The car drives great. One small (odd) detail I really appreciate is the lombard adjustment on the driver's seat. It is far superior to any I've had. I drive 1100 miles 4 times per year and look forward to my next trip. I also love the Blue Link, 3 year complimentary bonus. I can start the car with my phone and the snow will be melted and car nice and warm in these Michigan winters.

Only owned for 2.5 yrs… great car overall and looks better than a lot of other SUV’s! It was a 2019 leftover and I found the price to be remarkable for a brand new car!!👍💪

I own this vehicle. It is perfect for me and it drives fine. The back up camera is what I love the most. I'm a horrible parker but with this vehicle I am doing fine!!!

I bought a 2019 Hyundai Tucson sport new at the dealership. It has a custom leather seating package and the seats are phenomenal. The comfort and ride quality is very smooth. The interior is very well insulated and there is thicker glass which keeps the noise out. It came with the infinity sound system which is excellent and the infotainment system has all the features you would need or want, also wireless phone charger. One thing I love about it is the cup holders are a nice size up front and there are cup holders in each door front and back with plenty of spacious room throughout. I really have no complaints and this is an excellent SUV with an automatic transmission and no turbo thankfully. Someone teased me once and said I drive a “family car” if they only knew how nice it really is! I will take my soccer mom SUV over a fast Subaru or Honda all day! Gas mileage is actually pretty good considering that it’s a descent sized SUV and it takes the cheaper 89 fuel which offsets the cost in terms of mileage. No premium gasoline on this one. It has many nice features like auto hold, I never have to hold the brake down again at stoplights, lane keep assist, back up camera, and that 5 star crash safety rating. There really is nothing that it’s lacking for me and the features that you get for the money can’t be seen with any other brand if you are buying new. It’s an amazing SUV and I don’t plan on having any issues or changing it out anytime soon. The 2019 sport is the best looking in my opinion and I’m happy to own it.
