What Is the 2025 Lexus LS?

The five-seat LS 500 is Lexus’ flagship full-size luxury sedan. It’s powered by a 416-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine that drives a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear- and all-wheel-drive versions are available, along with an AWD-only gas-electric hybrid model in the 354-hp LS 500h. The LS competes with the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series and Genesis G90.

What’s New on the 2025 Lexus LS?

The LS is unchanged for 2025.

What Features in the 2025 Lexus LS Are Most Important?

Standard features include:

  • LED headlights and taillights
  • Hands-free power trunk lid
  • Power moonroof
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • Power rear sunshade
  • 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen
  • Navigation
  • Wi-Fi hot spot (subscription required after data trial)
  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity
  • Wireless charging
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Lane departure warning with steering assist
  • Blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert
  • Full-speed adaptive cruise control
  • Automatic high-beam headlights
  • Front and rear parking sensors

Available features include:

  • Panoramic moonroof
  • Air suspension
  • Massaging front seats
  • Power-adjustable massaging rear seats
  • Heated rear seats
  • Rearview camera mirror
  • 24-inch-wide head-up display
  • Mark Levinson premium stereo
  • Lane change assist

Should I Buy the 2025 Lexus LS?

The Lexus LS is less expensive than its German competitors, and its non-hybrid models undercut the price of the Genesis G90. If you’re looking for a bit more eco-friendliness in your large luxury sedan (and don’t mind paying a significant premium for it), the LS 500h gets an EPA-estimated 25 mpg combined. However, in any of its versions, the LS’s ride and handling isn’t as polished as most rivals in its class.
