Love this Car!

I've had the eclipse spyder for almost a year and I love it. The look is awesome and even the gas mileage for the 4 Cyl is pretty good. If you love sporty cars you'll love this one, especially the sunset orange color!! There isn't a ton of room in the back but for short distances it's not too bad for the smaller of the 3 or 4 to sit. The back seat has a curve in it to allow a little more leg room. Also this car handled surprisingly well in the winter time. This car handled better than my 2004 VW Passat in the snow!

The BEST Convertible/Car under $30,000.

I've owned my Spyder for 4 months and almost 5000 miles. Not problems at all. Fit and Finish are BMW-like. Eye-catching appearance. My 4-cyl. is amazingly peppy and I don't get the lousy gas mileage and I don't need to use premium gas like the 6-cyl. version. The pushbutton operation of the convertible top is a dream and always gets astonished looks from passers-by. It handles like a champ - steering is very responsive. The 650 Watt stereo, 9-speaker system ROCKS. The CD eject and load is a bit clumsy as others have indicated, but it's not a big deal. The not-so-tiny trunk and people-unfriendly backseat give you enough room to carry most reasonably sized cargo (groceries, few pieces of luggage, etc.) The styling is awesome - low, sleek, aerodynamic, curves in the right places. Surprisingly, I haven't seen many on the road. I think because Mitsubishi has a reputation of making marginal products, but this one is a WINNER!

Tons of fun to Drive!!!

We bought this car this past spring and have enjoyed it ever since. It's a pleasure to drive and handles great. For the money you won't go wrong. Believe it or not, you can cram some kids in the backseat...lol We love to take it out on the weekend and cruise with the top down. We purchased the GT package and it was well worth it. Gas mileage is decent for a sports car with a nice size engine. This car is a good choice as it pertains to vaule and price. Enjoy!

07 Spyder Eclipse

The exterior style is awesome! Nice looking vehicle, but not worth the money. I've purchased my car in May 06 and have had problems with the convertible top. The velcro/adhesive is coming apart! The CD player is not user friendly, problems ejecting CDs has been replaced once, and going into the shop for repair again!

2007 Spyder Eclispse-GS

Great design on the model, and handles great but the material (plastic)which is on the inside door panels, back of driver and passenger seats and around steering column "scratches" easily! Which cannot be repaired.... The Convertible back window has Velcro/adhesive around the back window and is seperating from the cloth (inexpensive adhesive used!) CD changer not user friendly....to eject or load CDs.

2007 Spyder is a great car!

I just bought my new 2007 Spder GS last week. It looks great and drives great. The top is a great feature and opens very quickly. The seats are comfortable and the sound system is fantastic. The backseat is small but it is good for storage. Great value for the money, would highly recommend the car.
