To infiniti and beyond!

OBO 2004 with 1.8L and front wheel drive. 255000 miles and counting. Changed the brakes at 100000miles. I change the fluids yearly using a vacuum pump. The price of vehicles today, I've figured I would save it save it 3years for my daughter's 16th B'day. Everthing is very simple for back yard mechanic to replace.

'04 bought new and still driving it!

We bought our 2004 Vibe Base with moon and tune pkg (I believe that is what it was called?), in Dec 2003. As of May 2022, I still drive this car daily. It currently has 249,000 miles. Aside from several sets of tires and brakes, a few batteries, and many oil changes, this car has never let us down. It has been well maintained. It doesn't leak any oil, and doesn't misfire. We didn't buy for any performance or tech (at the time lol). Everything works well! This is a car that is 99.9% Toyota. A simple, yet very reliable car!

The Vibe has been the best car I ever owned ,

Very reliable , easy to work on , great in the snow , if I was sending any member of my family on a long trip , the Pontiac Vibe would be the car I would prefer they drive. I have owned over 40 used vehicles in my life and the Vibe is my favorite.

I have the 2005 Pontiac Vibe

I have had my Pontiac Vibe over a year now I got it used the odometer stopped working at 299999.9 miles so I'm not sure how many miles it really has and the only thing I have to fix that is going to be a big job is the wrist pin is going out but other then that I haven't had any real problems out of it I love it it's one of the best cars I have ever owned.

Worst car i ever owned

Junk is all i can say not even safe to drive on the road i will never buy again thought it would be a good car

I would’ve bought another new one if they made it!

This car has been an awesome vehicle for me. If I needed to get something at the lumberyard or the big box stores I always have plenty a room. Mine has over 291,000 miles on it. It is not fast out of the gate but it will go fast, just gradually. If Pontiac hadn’t closed I definitely would’ve bought a new one of them. Mine is AWD.. two spots of surface rust... I bought it at the end of 2003 and it is a 2004. Now I’m just keeping her to do runabouts...

Best car ever owed.

It has went over 300 thousand miles and is the best car I ever owned I bought it used. Runs great. Still drives like a new car.

I've owned two vibes and am shopping for my third.

Toyota reliability and accessible parts make this a good long term investment. It's a fun and economical vehicle with excellent interior space and utility. My previous Vibes were totalled in accidents, but protected me in both cases. I can't wait to find another one.

I've had this car for 15 years and have never had to spend money for anything other than routine maintenance (oil changes, tires) and it still runs great! Reliable, trustworthy car. The cabin is not sound-proofed very well so the engine and road noise can be loud. But it's not a luxury vehicle so this noise is to be expected. Wish they still made the Vibe -- I'll have a hard time replacing this wonderful old car when the time comes.

Great Toyota with Pontiac logo

We love our Vibes. I bought this car after my old Honda CRV was showing its age. We decided to look at another Vibe because we bought an 07 Vibe 3 years ago and have had minimal repairs in that time. This lead us to consider the 04 Vibe we purchased 6 months ago. The car is a great value and has good features for a 14 year old car. This car is the same as a Toyota Matrix and has the same engine and transmission as the Corolla. The car is comfy and nimble great for city driving. My only compliant would be the lack of HP and pick-up, the car is good but I like a bit more zip, but that is something I can overlook due to the build quality and dependability of this car.
