This car made me a millionaire
OK, so I use this car more like a work truck for several several rentals. Super cheap to maintain means I have more cash for more rentals. This can easily tow my 4x8ft utility trailer which sees use about 3x/week. The heaviest load was 1600lbs of plaster debris (you weigh in/out at the landfill). 2.4L is a LARGE 4 cylinder. One of the biggest in any car, so lots of power for a small car. I wanted this as I was towing A LOT. Trash, yard waste, demo debris, new cabinets, drywall, flooring, anything. Super low maintenance and I work this car really REALLY hard. Use it weekly to cut grasses all over town. Bought it at $6k w/110k miles back in 2017 and now have 165k miles on it, Sept 2020. Only do oil changes every 10k miles (full synthetic). I have the cheapest insurance and put the cheapest gas in her and she always is up for the day's work. Or i could have blown $50k on a truck that would be much harder to maneuver in the city when I cut grass. I know this is true cause I bought a 2019 F150 last year. It's great but I do more work with this car. The truck means more in gas, more in insurance, more in tires, more space in garage, more more more more!! Wait until you're really established to buy one of those. It literally sits in the garage about 4 days/week. I've thought about Ubering in the winter but it's really dirty on the inside currently. Haven't cleaned it since a huge 400sqft Attic finishing job, complete gut of kitchen and bath at a different job, and a big 2nd story deck job. If this car were clean it's the perfect Uber car. Mods, $250 stereo with Apple carplay, satellite radio, trailer hitch. I used to own a 2005 xb and I think I liked that more, only cause of the better MPG. I used to get 32mpg always, now i'm about 27, 24 with the trailer. Seems ok in the snow. In mid-michigan we have about 4 days a year where I can't drive this, or well, shouldn't try to drive it.
MOST RELIABLE CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED.
Great on gas and has a lot interior space. Great for traveling. Maintenance is relatively low. great sound system. Best family vehicle around for your money.
Great! Car! own a Sion xb.
I bought this car after looking for 2 years. My purpose was to Be the Best Uber driver, best looking, most comfort for me and my passingers young and elderly. I received a trumendous amount of. A+ complements a day that my head was so swelled up at the end of the day couldn't fit thru my front door at home. I myself could not believe how on target I was about this car choise.
Most reliable car I have owned
This car exceeded my expectations, plenty of room front and back. Good ride and handling. Aux USB port w/iPod connectivity came handy. Hands free phone capability and music streaming via Bluetooth Wireless Technology definitely very helpfull. Good gas mileage, very dependable Toyota engine, quality you can feel.
Best car I ever own
The car rides great. The gas mileage is the best out of all the cars ever owned. The car is very comperfortable on Long trips..
GREAT LITTLE CAR FOR THE PRICE
I HAVE OWNED 2 SCION XB CARS. LOVED THEM BOTH PLENTY OF ROOM FOR A SMALL CAR. GOOD GAS MILEAGE AND PLENTY OF POWER FOR A SMALL ENGINE.
First Car I Ever Bought
I love this car. It's deceptively small on the outside but so roomy on the inside. My guys are both over six feet and fit comfortably in both the front and back seats, even when sitting behind each other. Their heads clear the ceiling by inches, but they don't feel crowded. The styling is great, the color fantastic. And the handling is so smooth, I love the way it hugs the curves. We can drive about 8 hours in a tank of gas. My neighbor, a long time mechanic says it's the quietest car he's ever ridden in. I have to agree. Despite being low to the ground, it handles really heavy winter snow really well. It seats four large people comfortably, five if your smaller. The cargo area is huge. I've moved everything from small furniture to renovation materials (the back seats fold down) in this car . Sturdy, dependable, fun, classic design, and in 5 years time, very low maintenance. The price is very affordable. Great car!
So far a pleasure to drive.
I?m very pleased with my Scion. I would recommend. Drives easily. This is a very quiet car and the gas mileage is great. Happy to have a Toyota.
Very reliable and roomy car.
This car is my daughters car and it?s been exceptional for her. Not a single problem with it ever. Very roomy interior. Lots of leg room in the front and back.
