2014 Subaru Forester consumer reviews

This car rides great, plenty of interior room. Sits high enough to clear the snow on road but not so high that it's difficult to get in & out. Visibility is fantastic all around, no blind spots. Great gas mileage.

Only driven it for a month but it has exceeded my expectations. Reliable and great fuel economy. The engine is very quiet and very smooth ride.

Safety, looks, reliability and just plain awesome! The car runs terrific and is very comfortable. I can not say enough about Subaru, except when you own one you will never regret it. Rain, sleet or snow is for Subaru, not the Post Office!!

This is actually the second Forester I have purchased. While I had family ask why I bought a second one when I had a few issues with my first one, I explained that it had over 120,000 miles when I bought it and I drove it out of state at least once a month but even with the issues it was a great, well built vehicle. Never had a problem getting around in the snow. The second one I purchased is only a few years old but was in excellent condition, and well taken care of. My favorite thing about this car is how large the windows are. I just feel like I can see better due to the size and shape of the windows. And they go forever. It's hard to find replacement parts at a junk yard because they are just a keeper. the down side is they are expensive to repair but the long life of them if serviced properly helps eliminate those issues.

I have owned several cars before this one and am so happy to be back into a Subaru! Subarus last forever and run great til the end. My car has gone on several trips before and since I have gotten it and it still runs as well as the day it came off the line. The gas mileage is great in town and on the road. I wouldn't trade it for the world except to get a newer Subaru!

is a good choice if you are looking for a compact SUV. It holds massive amounts of cargo and all-wheel drive comes standard on every model

Overall a very good vehicle. Great gas mileage. I would get 30 to 32 mpg until it needed a tune up. Traded it in with 100,000 miles on it and it ran like a champ. Problems I had with it that were frustrating: 1. Bluetooth system was horrible! My phones would make initial connection but within a week or so, I would have to try, usually unsuccessfully, to manually connect. 2. Hands free stopped working at about 50,000 miles 3. I hunt, fish, camp, and hike a lot. So I?m off road a lot. This car has no torsional strength in its body because i drove this on a relatively rough road, and it cracked the windshield. Got that fixed, and the next year was on a different road, albeit rough as well, and the windshield cracked again. I?d still recommend this to anyone who is staying on paved roads. I traded it in on a Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. Bet the windshield won?t crack in that.

I have a Premium with leather, heated seats, navigation, moon roof, downhill assist, and dimmed mirrors. 54,000 miles. Replaced battery already and now it?s not shifting at all. Like it?s stuck in low gear. Going in the shop day after Christmas. If the transmission is bad, this will be the last Subaru I ever own. Love the car, but disappointed is an understatement!

This car is amazing. It?s quick, comfortable, stylish and is well optioned. We enjoy Subaru?s and their reliability. Best car purchase ever.
