I’ve had no issues with the truck. The interior is nice. Good sound system and comfortable seats. The gas mileage isn’t too bad in my experience. I’m at and average of 17mpg and I drive it in an area with heavy traffic.

I was a long time Chevy truck guy but decided to get a new 2021 Tundra primarily due to the bulletin proof drivetrain reputation. Got it right as the COVID thing was getting rolling, just dumb luck. The good and bad of the drivetrain is that it is a 13 year old design but with constant improvements. The gas mileage isn’t great but are you buying a full sized truck because you’re trying to save on gas? The power has impressed me since day one and the handling is great. The durability is beyond belief. Without going into a ton of detail, after a long day of hunting I was tired and probably should have let my son drive. I misjudged an automated tollbooth entrance and caught the safety curb going a little too fast. Both right side tires got destroyed from impact with the curb and I thought that I was going to have significant suspension damage. I replaced the 2 tires and it was like nothing ever happened! That was a few thousand miles ago and not even the hint of a problem, alignment is perfect and straight. Best truck I’ve ever owned!

  • 2021 Tundra SR5 in Army Green.

After 40 yrs of Fords I made the switch to Toyota. My Tundra has exceeded my expectations. I have had ZERO ISSUES in 2 plus yrs of ownership. Only complaint is gas MPG is not as good as my Ford but was expected with a big V8 engine. I would DEFINITELY buy another Toyota.

  • Still the best 1/2 ton on the market.

This is a limited tundra. I really enjoy this third tundra. My 19 wasn't worn out, but was afraid this might be the last of the v-8s. The only concern is the lack of a transmission cooler. It has one now. Our oldest toyota has almost 400k on it now and except for a steering cylinder it's still going strong. This truck won't be any different. It only has 30k miles as of right now,but no rattles or speaks. I drive about 50 miles of rock road a day and this truck is by far the cleanest on the inside of any cars. Toyota makes em right and tight! Thank you toyota!

  • Tunda, best for good reason.

My 2021 Tundra is a great truck. I bought a limited. White with black trim. I thought it would be a nice non-descript truck. Well, it also came with duel tuned exhaust. It turns heads. 20" wheels and a black bed cover add to the style. And the black leather seats are tough enough for my dog's nails. My wife has a 2017. We have only changed lights and all the normal maintenance.

  • 2021 Tundra 1794 Edition

Love my 1794, it’s got more bells and whistles than any truck I’ve ever owned. The 5.7L is a beast and will tow practically anything. The fuel efficiency is not great but xxxx it’s a truck made to work, and being the 1794 edition (Top Dog) in Tundras lineup, I can look good doing doing so. If I wanted a truck for fuel economy I would have bought a four cylinder.

  • 11K and Three Leaks

I have a 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD and have put 11K miles on the vehicle. So far I've had a Rear Main seal oil leak. Front Timing plate cover leak and now a water pump leak. As for the Rear Main seal, it looks like it's a systemic problem. My buddy who works for a transmission shop has seen several rear main seal leaks on 2021 tundras. I would not recommend buying this vehicle.

  • Proven Platform and Reliability

Outdated? A little, but all the bugs and issues have been worked out years ago. Bad on gas? Yes, It's a full size truck. Lack of technology? Yep, not all the bells and whistles, but less to go wrong. Reliable? 100%! I've owned 5 Tundras in the past 20 years and all had over 150K miles before selling. If you look at the actual total repair costs of ALL my Tundras over the years (not maintenance) combined, it is still less than my neighbors one trip to the dealer for his Silverado and then F150. Tundra will run forever. Good resale value? Best in class for a reason.

  • Best truck I ever owned

Best truck I ever owned, very comfortable especially like the heated cold seats. The driver experience is great, good handling and performance, plenty of power fuel mi not the best but it makes it up by using regular unleaded so actually cheaper to drive than most. Beautiful interior esp the saddle brown saddle leather. Never owned a fancy truck before but my 1794 is awesome and its allready showed me its more than capable for work! Given the known Toyota reliability and this is my 5th Toyota you can’t go wrong.
